This is a private tour with private transport for you and your party alone. Explore the neighboring towns and villages of Valencia on a private, full day excursion of your choice. During any of the full day tour options, you will gain an insider's perspective on local life. If you have a town, excursion, or point of interest in mind that is not listed, please note that your tour can be completely customized to suit your needs and interests!

Starting at 9:30 am at your hotel or Airbnb, cruise ship port, or another location of your choosing, your guide will pick you up in a private car and take you on a scenic drive along the Mediterranean coast to the destination of your choice. 

If you decide to visit Sagunto on your half day excursion, you guide will take you on a hike to the impressive hill-top of Roman ruins with spectacular panoramic views of the Valencia region below. You will pass by the Roman Circus remains, stroll the quaint medieval streets of a once large Roman city in a bygone past and visit sites important to the Jewish community such as the Jewish quarter and Rabbi´s cemetery. You will also travel 20 minutes from Sagunto to the province of Castellón, where you will take a boat ride through pre-historic caves that the longest subterranean river in Europe flows through.

If you choose to visit the mountaintop Moorish castle and the caves, your guide will take you to the Castellon mountain range, Sierra de Espadan, to go through quaint mountain villages and stopping in the region’s largest village, Ain, to take a 30-45 minute hike through the town and up the well-traveled path, on easy terrain, to the 10th century Moorish castle. From the castle, we will have panoramic views of the whitewashed village below. On this itinerary, you will also visit the Caves of San Josep. 

If you interests take you to Xativa, you will pass through orange groves and mountain passes  on the drive to this hilltop town, protected by the walled fortress originally built the Iberian tribes and Romans. Your climb to the top of the castle ruins will be rewarded with panoramic views of the medieval rooftops and the village below.

Alcala del Jucar is widely known as one of Spain's most beautiful towns. On this tour, your guide will take you on a scenic drive into the mountains and vineyards of the Spanish countryside. Alcalá del Júcar will take you by surprise, with the well preserved, white houses that cascade down mountain cliffs coming into view when you least expect it. During this tour, you’ll visit this hilltop castle with panoramic views of the medieval rooftops and river below. You’ll also have an exceptional view of the bullring across the valley, unique because of its precarious location and irregular shape.

If you decide to opt for the visit to the UNESCO-protected, walled medieval village of Albarracin, your guide will take you to the Moorish castle and along the ramparts. On the way there, you will stop in the small provincial capital of Teruel for panoramic, cliff-top views and to wander the medieval streets and see the famed ‘Mausoleum of the Lovers’, dedicated to the real-life story of Spain’s Romeo and Juliet.

At the end of your eight-hour tour, your guide will drop you off at a location of your choice. This tour includes your private guide and transportation.
