Join us on a trip back in time to Malaga’s oldest bar, which is like a living museum. Large barrels, cranky barmen who fill your glass to the rim, and the tally kept with chalk on the counter. You can immerse yourself in Malaga’s “liquid heritage” and follow the footsteps of countless locals and celebrities who have visited since 1840.

You'll feel the beat of the delicious Heart of Malaga at an ancient dockyard - immerse into the colors, scents and sounds of a vivid southern food market, where the locals do their daily grocery shopping. Closeby, we reveal the story why shopkeeper Francisco and his sons would loose their business by changing only one letter of the shop’s nameplate.

With the sure lead of the food guide, we are strolling through winding alleys, exploring picturesque places and tasting delicious local tapas appetizers in traditional taverns. Behind thick white walls, at a hidden gem one of Andalusia’s most important customs is kept alive: with pointed hats, medieval robes and religious artifacts. The “penance brotherhood” is equally passionate about religious rites and culinary traditions – we enjoy homemade croquetas in a truly special place.
