Hiking Tour Pyrenees - La Cerdanya
In La Cerdanya, one of the largest valleys in Europe, we have good temperatures, a dry climate, and a beautiful land ready for you to discover it trekking.
We offer you a week of active holidays and switching off from everyday life. Amidst an environment of great natural and cultural value, with great gastronomic options, where your only concern will be to hike around the breathtaking scenery of the Pyrenees.

Day 1 - Welcome to Catalonia. Our trip starts in Barcelona, the meeting point will be at Estación de Francia at 10.00 am, from where we will depart towards our destination, the Pyrenees. The trip will take about 2 hours. Once in the mountains we'll do a briefing of the routes and preparation of the bikes. After that we will have lunch and you will have the afternoon free to stroll, get familiar with the place or enjoy the first hike around the area.
Day 2 - Prats de Cadí. Now the real fun and action starts! Easy excursion from Estana to
Prats de Cadi. Along a pleasant path we will reach the base of the north face of the Cadí, with a nice view of the entire side of this mountain range. On our way back we will stop for lunch in
Montella, a small mountain village where we will visit a fully organic farm and will taste their products.
Day 3 - Guils Fontanera -Lago de Malniu Shelter. 8 km-long linear route, from
Guils Fontanera to the
Malniu shelter passing by Malniu lake, of glacial origin, surrounded by pine trees and granite blocks, is the main attraction point of the Puigpedrós (2,915 m height). Once we reach the top, we can rest and enjoy a picnic lunch. We will then descend down to the shelter, where we will be picked up and driven to the village of
Maranges about 2 km away. Here we stop for a guided tour and tasting typical Pyrenees cheeses.
Day 4 - Font Viva lake French Pyrenees. French part today! In a corner of the
Porte valley we will reach the picturesque Font Viva lake which is located at the base of the mountain by the same name, the delight of fishermen. Upon reaching the lake, there will be a picnic lunch, some time to rest and then we will descend along an easy route that lasts for approximately 4 hours. Today we take dinner at a gourmet restaurant in
LLivia.
Day 5 - Villefranche de Conflent + Fort Liberia. Todays route will consist of a transfer to
Villefranche de Conlent, a medieval fortified town which is considered as one of the most beautiful in France, just an hour and a half from our hotel. There we will walk along a path to the Fort Liberia fortification located in the high part of Villefranche, which was declare a World Heritage Site. We will descend through the tunnels that connect with Villefranche, with over 700 steps. Typical lunch in a restaurant in Villefranche, leisure time and then return using the centenary yellow train, which was built to connect the Catalan highlands on a 3-hours journey that runs through viaducts and tunnels on a route with breathtakingly beautiful landscapes.
Day 6. Breakfast, check-out and transfer to the airport, end of our adventure. It has been a great time, you'll want to repeat it next year!
