Cabrera was declared a Maritime and Terrestrial National Park in 1991 and Areas of Special Protection of Mediterranean Importance (AEPIM). It is home to the best exponent of unaltered insular ecosystems of the Spanish Mediterranean. Important colonies of seabirds, endemic species and one of the best conserved sea beds in the whole country will fascinate you.
