Itinerary

Your Kite course will be taught by a professional and certified IKO or VDWS Instructor who will normally speak at least 3 languages or more: English, Spanish, Italian, French and German are the most commonly spoke languages here. All equipment is included in these courses as well as transportation to the beach! The courses normally will be between 3 – 4 hours in length and for “Group” lessons you will normally be teamed with 1 or 2 persons more per instructor making a maximum of 3 students per instructor sharing one set of kite equipment between you all.

Here is a quick breakdown of how the lessons will run day by day:

Day 1 (land lesson only) will cover basic theory of wind, water, kite equipment and most important SAFETY. You will start off normally with a 2 line “trainer kite” which is usually between 1 – 3 meter squared in size. This is much smaller than what an experienced kiter would use in normal conditions on the water. You will prepare the kite and try some basic flying skills on the beach untill you get the hang of it. The next step will be setting up a 4 line kite which will be a little bigger with a little more power.
