MONTSERRAT and ANDORRA full day private tour

This tour is for all mountain lovers! The tour take around 10 hours, done by an air conditioned minivan our driver guide will explain you interesting tips about Montserrat and Andorra. You will visit the Monastery of Montserrat and our Lady (the black Madonna), After the visit, you will have time to take a walk around Montserrat, or visit the interactive space or the Montserrat museum, up to your wishes...

After that, will go to Andorra, the country in the middle of Pyrenees. Is a long drive, less than 3 hours aproximately. Will arrive in Andorra at the lunch time, so will stop for lunch at any local restaurant there. After lunch visit the sanctuary of Meritxell, where you can see the old romanesque building nenovated, and the new sanctuary build in 1972.

After the visit will be time to go back to Barcelona.

You will have the opportunity to discover the monastery of Montserrat, visit the renovated building inside and visit the black madonna (patron Saint of Catalonia). Also will be time to take a walk throught some of the path near by the monastery.

Stop At: Santuario de Meritxell, Carrer de Meritxell, Meritxell, Canillo AD100 Andorra

The sanctuary of Meritxell is the main religious centre in Andorra, Actually there are two buildings, a replica of the old romanesque sanctuary and the new and modern construction by Bofill absolutelly integrated into the mointain, will be possible to visit inside and the image of our Lady of Meritxell (patron Saint of Andorra)

All long the way you will enjoy the Pyrenees mountains, and will be in two different countries in one day (Spain and Andorra) so don't forget your passport! Specially spectacular in winter season when you can see all snowy mountains.

You will have the option to discover the old pieces of art, religious art, and some modern, art nouveu and classical pictures in the different halls.

Discover the unusual shapes of the picks of Montserrat, from the distance, on the way or walking through. From the monastery is possible to take the funicular (fee not included) to go up the hills and take a walk enjoying the best views of Montserrat.
