Bocairent is a hidden gem that most visitors to Valencia do not get to experience. It feels like you have travelled in time and we provide you with an opportunity to disconnect from city life. The combination of the beautiful mountain springs and riveting history and culture makes for a very unique day out. Bocairent is not easily accessible from Valencia by public transport and so we bridge this gap by providing transport solutions along with a knowledgable and passionate guide who really adds an exciting element to the day.

Pick up and drop off is from a location in the city centre - close to the estacion nord train station. The day begins at 9.00am.

Stop At: Pou Clar, Crtra Villena-Bocairent, Ontinyent Spain

We will stop off at the crystal clear "Pou Clar" - natural mountain pools and springs - for a beautiful walk or a refreshing dip, before continuing on our journey. The Pou Clar (or clear pools) of Bocairent are a truly stunning place to discover. Taking a walk or a swim here will feel like being at your very own spa, with the mini waterfalls and jacuzzi jet springs. There are pools of different sizes and depths, perfect for all ages!

Stop At: Moorish Caves, 46880 Bocairente Spain

The village of Bocairent is Valencia's best kept secret. A medieval village nestled in the Mariola mountains south of Valencia, it is full of history and stories.

Berber tribes inhabiting the village of Bocairent carved unique caves into the mountain to serve as storage and hideouts from their enemies. These caves were later interconnected and form a natural escape room that we can explore. Climbing through the caves requires a moderate level of physical activity and is limited to people aged above 7 years.

There are alternative caves for us to explore in the case of not meeting the above requirements.

In addition, we will explore the narrow winding streets of the village and soak up the atmosphere. With beautiful views on every corner, Bocairent is truly magical.

With enough time to take in the sights, we will then go for a nice lunch (on Spanish time!) before slowly making our way back to Valencia. We will return to the city feeling reenergised and refreshed.
