Mountain Teide National Park And North Of The Island

1st stop La Laguna: old capital of the island, home of the University and Unesco World Heritage Site.

2nd La Esperanza forest full of Canarian pines and eucalyptus, we usually stop here to test a special and delicious coffee (the coffee isn´t included ).Then we visit Teide National Park Icod and Garachico important cities in the North with a rich Heritage  and Landscape.

We will pick up you in your accommodation , at the harbour or at the airport for that reason is important to provide an useful telephone number (mobile phone better) and email address. If the booking is for 6 persons you can arrange with us the pick up timetable.

We will visit La Laguna first capital of the island , home of the University and Unesco World Heritage Site due to the richness of its arquitecture and the good state of the old buildings. We will go for a walk with the tour guide and you can learn something more about this elegant city, also you can make beautiful photos.

The next point will be the Esperanza forest in the way to Teide Volcano,we use to stop here to test a delicious coffee call barraquito .The coffee is not include in the tour. The forest is full of Canarian pines and eucalyptus, its name Esperanza (Hope) comes from an interesting history. We will make several stops in different viewpoints where you can enjoy the beautiful views.

When we arrive to the National Park we will make several stops but we try to avoid tourist places. This place has been scenery of important american movies such us The planet of Apes(old version). When we go down , we will see Chinyero Volcano that was the last volcanic eruption in Tenerife 1909. Before we arrive Garachico we will stop in a place to have lunch (only if the clients want and in local restaurants where you can test the canary food) The lunch is not included but normally the prices are suitables .Later we will visit Garachico a very elegant town witha rich arquitecture heritage from XVI, XVII and XVIII centuries and because of that it was declared a Site of Cultural Interest in 1994. It also holds the title of Villa y Puerto, granted by King Alfonso XIII in 1916. A village that emerged from the ashes after a volcanic eruption.

The last point will be Icod de los Vinos a nice population very important till the beginning of the XVIII century in the production of the malvasia wine.Here we will see the Millenary Dragon Tree a very important tree that is more than 1000 years.

In both places we will go for a walk with your tour guide and you have time to make photos.

At the end we will leave you in your accomodation/harbour/airport ...etc
