A great opportunity to visit the Las Canadas National Park and Mount Teide. This guided tour is ideally suited to those seeking a relaxing tour and an opportunity to view the spectacular scenery and visit the highest point in Spain.
Then continuing through the Esperanza Forest, where we stop to admire the fauna and flora of the area. As we continue our tour the beautiful green backdrops gradually turn to grey, reds and blue – a sign that we are approaching the volcanic area, with the stunning Mount Teide, towering at 3718 meters taking centre stage, as we drive through the twists and turns we experience amazing views over the island of Tenerife you even feel like you are driving through the clouds.
We have many photo opportunities along the journey to Teide where stop to capture these breathtaking volcanic landscapes and sights.

Stop At: Teide National Park, 38300, Tenerife Spain

Excursion Itinerary:

Meet and greet at Tenerife Santa Cruz Port
Depart the port with a scenic journey on the way to the National Park
Photo stops on the way to Teide
Coffee break at the National Park (coffee not included, payable locally)
Drive through the park and freetime to explore
Drive back to the cruise port

On this tour it is not possible to visit the crater of Teide. There are huge queues for the cable car (sometimes this does not run due to the weather). If you want to visit the crater a private tour is highly recommended.

Please be aware there are bathroom facilities at the National Park (this is around 1 hour and 20 minutes into the journey).

When does my Tour Start?

This is generally a morning tour departing from the port, however if your cruise ship ports later we schedule the tour around your cruise ships itinerary, in able for all cruise ship passengers to experience this wonderful tour.

When do I return to port after my shore excursion?

We schedule your return to port to ensure you arrive in plenty of time to re-join your ship – normally one hour before the scheduled sailing time. Where you will have free time at the end of your Shore Excursion, it is then your responsibility you re-join your ship on time. All tours are based on shore time (ie local time in port) not ship time.
