Itinerary

Day 1: AIRPORT PICKUP & MEET THE GROUP

Stop At: Negombo Beach, Negombo Sri Lanka
We’ll pick you up from the airport and take you to the hotel in Negombo. You’ll then have plenty of time to recover from your long flight, chill out and meet everyone in the group.

Day 2: GOLDEN TEMPLE CAVE & DAMBULLA

Stop At: Dambulla Cave Temple, Jaffna Hwy, Habarana 50150 Sri Lanka
Discover the most historic and unique temple in Sri Lanka. We will wander through the impressive caves which are filled with ancient Buddhist statues and intricate rock carvings made by the monks thousands of years ago, before heading to our beautiful resort alongside the lake.

Day 3: SIGIRIYA, LOCAL VILLAGE TOUR & KANDY

Stop At: Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress, Sigiriya 21120 Sri Lanka
We will start the day by visiting a countryside village to spend time with the local people and experience their everyday life. After helping them to prepare our traditional Sri Lankan buffet we venture further into the country and trek to the most incredible view of the famous abandoned lion rock fortress, Sigiriya. From here we will journey south to Kandy.

Day 4: TEMPLE OF THE TOOTH & KANDY TUK TUK TOUR

Stop At: Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, Sri Dalada Veediya, Kandy 20000 Sri Lanka
Uncover the stunning town of Kandy surrounded by mountains as we are taken for a ride in a Tuk Tuk to some iconic places such as the Temple of the Sacred Tooth & the famous giant white Buddha statue overlooking the city. Have some time to relax, go wandering or enjoy the hotel before we head out for dinner and drinks that evening.

Day 5: TEA PLANTATION, RAMBODA FALLS & BLUE TRAIN TO ELLA

Stop At: Ramboda Waterfall, Pussellawa Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka is one of the biggest exporters of tea in the world. That’s why today we will venture deep into the serene tea plantations and learn to pick and make our very own tea. We will then take a stop at the breathtaking Ramboda falls waterfall before we board what is known as the most scenic, epic train journey in the world to Ella. Once we arrive we will get checked in and head into town for a night out in Ella!

Day 6: NINE ARCHES BRIDGE & LITTLE ADAM’S PEAK

Stop At: Demodara Nine Arch Bridge, Gotuwala, Ella 90090 Sri Lanka
Today we will explore the spectacular green hill town of Ella. We will walk along the iconic Nine Arches Bridge, an amazing piece of British architecture which is hidden amongst the blooming forest and tea leaves, before taking a hike to the top of Little Adam’s Peak. We will leave Ella late afternoon and make our way to the Udawalawe National Park.

Day 7: UDAWALAWE SAFARI & MIRISSA

Stop At: Udawalawe National Park Sri Lanka
At the top of everyone’s Bucket list is to observe some of this planets most incredible animals. We will take you on an open jeep Safari through the Udawalawe National Park, home to hundreds of free roaming elephants. On our amazing wildlife safari, not only will we be looking out for wild elephants; but crocodiles, peacocks, water buffaloes and many more animals wandering the park. Today we will finish up on the golden beaches of Mirissa where we will kick back and relax before heading out for a beach party!

Day 8: SURFING LESSON & BEACH TIME

Stop At: Mirissa Beach, Mirissa 81740 Sri Lanka
Spend the morning chilling and soaking in the sun on Mirissa beach before we take a short trip along the coast to Welligama for our surf lesson. Whether it’s your first time or not, our super cool local friends will have you riding on the Sri Lankan waves in no time.

Day 9: GALLE VISIT & HIKKADUWA

Stop At: Galle Fort, Church Street, Galle 80000 Sri Lanka
Moving further along the coastline we will hit the cultural city of Galle. After introducing you to the fascinating history of this quirky city, you will have the chance to see more of what Galle has to offer with its fantastic European influenced colonial buildings including the lighthouse. Also the best place to do some shopping before we continue to our last beach destination Hikkaduwa, a fantastic location to unwind and finish your trip in Sri Lanka.

Day 10: CHECKOUT & ONWARD TRAVEL

Stop At: Hikkaduwa Beach, Hikkaduwa 80240 Sri Lanka
Today is checkout day and the end of your amazing trip in Sri Lanka. We’ll help you sort out your onward travel, giving you ideas on where to go next on your travels with your new mates or simply helping you get back to Colombo for your flight.

If you choose to stay in Sri Lanka a little longer why not extend your stay here on the beach in Hikkaduwa :)
