Dambulla cave temple also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla is a World Heritage Site in Sri Lanka, situated in the central part of the country.

You will be met by a tour representative from the airport arrival or Hotel. Then you will proceed to Sigiriya.

Day 2: DAMBULLA TO POLONNARUWA

Stop At: Polonnaruwa Vatadage, Sacred City, Polonnaruwa Sri Lanka
The second most ancient of Sri Lanka's kingdoms, Polonnaruwa was first established by the Chola dynasty as their capital in the 10th century. The Ancient City of Polonnaruwa has been declared a World Heritage Site.

Day 3: SIGIRIYA TO KANDY

Kandyan dance takes its name from Kandy, the last royal capital of Sri Lanka, which is situated about 120 kilometers from the modern capital at Colombo. This genre is today considered the classical dance of Sri Lanka. In Sanskrit terminology it is considered pure dance it features a highly developed system of "tala" (rhythm), provided by cymbals called "thalampataa". There are five distinct types; the ves, naiyandi, uddekki, pantheru, and vannams.

DescriptionRamboda Falls is 109 m high and 11th highest waterfall in Sri Lanka and 729th highest waterfall in the world. It is situated in Pussellawa area, on the A5 highway at Ramboda Pass. It formed by Panna Oya which is a tributary of Kothmale Oya. Altitude of the falls is 945 m above sea level

Lake Gregory, sometimes also called Gregory Lake or Gregory Reservoir, is a reservoir in heart of the tea country hill city, Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka. Lake Gregory was constructed during the period of British Governor Sir William Gregory in 1873. The lake and the surrounding area make up the Gregory Lake Area.

Day 6: ELLA TO MIRISSA

The Nine Arch Bridge also called the Bridge in the Sky, is a viaduct bridge in Sri Lanka. It is one of the best examples of colonial-era railway construction in the country. The construction of the bridge is generally attributed to a local Ceylonese builder, P. K. Appuhami, in consultation with British engineers.

Day 7: MIRISSA TO GALLE

Stop At: Mirissa Beach, Mirissa 81740 Sri Lanka
Responsible whale and dolphin watching on fully insured and licensed boat. Experienced crew include captain with full coxswain license, lifeguard, first aider, engineer and experienced English speaking guide. Boat start at 7.00 a.m. and should stay at harbor 30 minutes before. Price includes morning pick up to harbor from Mirissa guesthouses, tea, breakfast, water and fruit. Life jackets and sea sickness tablets are provided for comfort and safety.

Stop At: Koggala, Koggala, Galle District, Southern Province
The area around Koggala is one of the best places on Sri Lanka's south coast to see traditional stilt fishermen in action. This famed practice has become one of the most distinctive sights of Sri Lanka. It started just after World War II, when the rocks and shoreline became too crowde. As a result, fishermen started using the ship and aircraft wrecks to fish. This developed to fixed stilts in the shoreline for fishermen to use and pass on to the next generation.

Stop At: Jungle Beach, Unawatuna 80600 Sri Lanka
The Jungle Beach is not a large very popular beach length of 150 meters, which is located on the opposite side of the Bay of Galle near Unawatuna. Coral reef of Bonavista protects Jungle Beach from the big ocean waves, so many come here to swim with kids and dive with a mask.

To get on the beach you can by foot from the main road A2, Colombo-Hambantota. Between Galle and Unawatuna signposted “Jungle Beach”, so do not get lost. Some arrive by boat from Galle or Unawatuna. From the infrastructure there is one cafe, shower, toilet, sun loungers are available for rent. There are no water sports on the beach. Tourists are always a lot, so wild and quiet relax is not there.

Day 8: GALLE TO COLOMBO

Stop At: Turtle Hatchery Hikkaduwa, Galle Road Colombo, Hikkaduwa 80240 Sri Lanka
The turtles along Sri Lanka's southern coast are threatened by human activity. But these local turtle hatcheries are trying to save them.
