Stop At: Meemure Adventure Tours, Meemure Sri Lanka

Start your tour at 7am in Hunnasgiriya, a town 26 miles (42 km) from Kandy. Your bike, helmet, and water bottle will be ready for you when you arrive. You will be accompanied by a good cycling guide who manages your tour route continuously to avoid any inconveniences.

Enjoy biking along peaceful roads and trails surrounded by beautiful views of the landscape. The crunching leaves under your bike and the morning mist enshrouding the mountains around you transport you to a zen-filled world. See locals starting their work on the tea estates as they find their plots to pick tea and don the sackcloth garb they use to avoid getting scratched by the stray branches of the tea trees.

After pedaling for approximately 5 miles (8 km), find yourself at the Deanston peak of the Knuckles Mountain Range, where the Mini World's End trail starts. From this point, hike 1.8 miles (3 km) up to Mini World's End. Once you reach the top, you will have some stupendous views of the surrounding countryside. Make sure to avoid leaving any plastic or other pollutants here.

When you get back down to your bike, continue your journey to Meemure. The village is a very traditional one where people have learned to live self-sufficiently. You will see bright green or golden paddy fields, vegetable gardens, and more. Meemure is just a few kilometers away from the wildlife office, and the village area has many varieties of vegetation and animals. You'll have some time to spend in the village, chatting with locals and learning about their lifestyles.
