Upon your arrival at the Kandy enjoy a city tour taking in many of the most popular sites around the Kandy Lake built by the last Sinhala king Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1807 and visit the Temple of the Tooth, which houses the most sacred religious relic, the tooth of the Lord Buddha.

Stop At: Royal Botanical Gardens, Peradeniya Road, Peradeniya 20400 Sri Lanka

These stunning garden was once reserved exclusively for Kandyan royalty. Highlights include a fine collection of orchids, a stately avenue of royal palms, the extraordinary, aptly named cannonball fruit tree and 40m high Burma bamboo. Another big hit is the giant Javan fig tree on the great lawn, with its colossal central trunk and umbrella-like canopy of branches.

Kandy view point offers you a bird's eye view of the city with the Kandy lake in the center. A nice place to click pictures, and the view was great and scenic. A good place to stop-by, and enjoy the view!
