This day trip to Kandy is made for you to take care of what will offer you the best day out. At 6:00 in the morning, we pick you up from the hotel and first take you to the spice garden in Mavanella. The garden has so many spices and is used for medicines and cosmetics. Next in line is Giragama Tea Factory after which we will arrive at Oak Ray Restaurant for lunch.

After lunch, we would be visiting a Gem Lapidary and Wood Carving center, Bahirawakanda Buddha statute, Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha, and Kandy Lake. This trip will take you to all the places that will be perfect to make memories for you.

Tea plantation requires a large number of people, which makes about one million Sri Lankans being employed in this filed. One of the oldest in Sri Lanka is Giragama. Few plants were brought from China and the first plant was of tea was set out in 1824.

We go to Oak Ray Restaurant in Kandy for lunch. The restaurant makes delicious food and will leave you with lip-smacking taste. After having lunch, we visit Gem Lapidary and Wood Carving centre in Kandy.

one of the biggest Buddha statues in Sri Lanka, Bahirawakanda Vihara Buddha Statue stands 88 feet tall. Climbing the top of the hill will allow you to have panoramic views of Kandy. The place has in store that will serve as best place for clicking some photographs and make perfect memories.
