This temple has great significance with the Ramayana.This is the first temple built for Gayathri Amman in Sri Lanka.

Stop At: Divurumpola, Welimada Sri Lanka

You will then visit Divurumpola temple which is famous as it said that it is the place where Seetha Devi underwent "Agni Pariksha" (test), to prove her chastity.

Stop At: Aadishakti Seeta Amman Temple. (Sita Mata Temple), Seetha Eliya, Sri Lanka

This is believed to be the place where Seeta lived most of the time of her captivity according to the historical Legend of Ramayana. This place also has the footprints of monkey god Hanuman.
