This 6 days’ tour will take you to Kandy, the hill capital can be retrieved by both land and air. The most prevalent land route is which offers astonishing picturesque sights of the countryside. This hill capital of Kandy was the last bastion of the Sinhala Kings which is popular for the richness in history and culture. Surrounded by an attractive man-made lake in Sri Lanka’s most scenic hill country the city of Kandy is charming which offers a living record of a magnificent past. The Temple of the Tooth which is the center of the town and also contains the well-guarded tooth casket at the same time it has a series of elaborate Buddha images and a detailed legend on how this Tooth arrived in Kandy.

Itinerary

Day 1: AIRPORT - NEGOMBO

Stop At: Negombo Beach, Negombo Sri Lanka
Landing at the Bandaranayke international airport with a heartfelt welcome by our representative and a chauffeur guide receiving you with a garland of flowers get transferred to your hotel in one of the famous destination in Sri Lanka also known as the Little Rome. Get a fine sleep and off to enjoy the rest of the day relaxing by the beach. Sri Lanka has plenty of beautiful beaches for you to retreat to when the tropical temperatures get a bit too close for comfort. Sandy seashores, gorgeous views and don’t forget to snap a pic of yours with the sunset to make all your buddies envious.

Day 2: NEGOMBO - KANDY

Stop At: Kandy View Point, Rajapihilla Mawatha, Kandy 20000 Sri Lanka
Leave to Kandy after your morning breakfast. En route you can visit the Millennium Elephant Foundation, get a unique opportunity to see, walk with, and bathe the elephants they look after and off to one of the most famous spice garden in Sri Lanka to witness the smell of Sri Lankan spices, spices boost the color, fragrance and zest of food. En route enjoy your lunch and check in at the hotel. If time permits go on a city walk to experience Kandy city like a local we have this fun filled relaxing walking tour with your guide, have some street food around Kandy, hop into a Tuk Tuk has become a part of the Sri Lankan culture. Visit to Temple of Tooth relic which is believed to hold the blessed tooth of the Buddha, which was reserved from his remnants after his burial in India and rustled to Sri Lanka, where it ultimately concluded up in Kandy. Go on a shopping spree at Kandy where you will get a chance to visit the gem museum which has a hidden history and get some wood carvings to yourself as remembrance. By 4:00 off to enjoy a cultural dance show. Back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3: KANDY - KITHULGALA

Stop At: Kithulgala, Kelani River, Kitulgala, Sri Lanka
Leave to Kithulgala after your morning breakfast. En route visit the Ambuluwawa mountain hosts a new traveler hotspot together with a biodiversity complex and Sri Lanka’s first multi-religious sanctuary, with a Hindu Kovil, a Muslim Mosque and a Christian Chapel, besides several Buddhist shrines. Check in at the hotel and enjoy your lunch at a restaurant on your own choice. This attractive scenery is home to jungle, tea and rubber estates and remarkable peaks looming in the coldness. Spend your entire evening at Laxapana Falls a hidden fall amongst the thick wilderness of the Ginigathhena mount range, the Laxapana Falls is an aggressive waterfall of rainwater that never ends to astound the travelers. Get a chance to go on a mountain pedaling cover Tea Plantations, Rubber Estates and other picturesque sites, towns and sleepy hamlets. This is a countless way to experience the sceneries and the local village routines. Back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4: KITHULGALA STAY

Stop At: Kithulgala, Kelani River, Kitulgala, Sri Lanka
After morning breakfast off for a Canyoning session at Kithulgala. You will get a chance to enjoy a full day excursion which includes sliding down a slanted 5-meter water fall with security gear, in to the stoned pool, a confidence jump with safety to wonderful natural rock pool and swimming in the cool and clean waters of the rain forest. Trek through this mysterious land of tropical floras and stay on the look-out for vibrant birdies, glamorous butterflies and a diversity of other living being. Back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 5: KITHULGALA - COLOMBO

Stop At: Colombo Fort, Galle Buck, Colombo Sri Lanka
Have your breakfast at the hotel and off to Colombo hop on a city tour with Shopping only if time permits. Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant and enjoy the nightlife in Colombo, the emergence of a Pub Culture, this attached with Sri Lanka ‘s repute for being a friendly residence, engaging in a pub-crawl is sure to fill your night with countless memories and new buds. Overnight stay at the hotel.
