The stunningly landscaped gardens, the large variety of plants and the Orchid House; the best known attraction of the garden featuring over 300 varieties of beautiful orchids make it a much loved Sri Lankan attraction.
The great circle and Memorial trees - The great circle is a grassy central area of nearly 4 acres in extent. Around the circle is a diverse array of trees planted by dignitaries, who had visited the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens.

During puja (offerings or prayers), the heavily guarded room housing the tooth is open to devotees and tourists.

The beat a dancing from depicting several demons, vibrant expression of low country rhythm, Fire and Harvest dances accompanied by Ceremonial Drums and the Drum Orchestra rising and falling to the lively tempo. Enjoy the beautiful landscape and temperate climate, which offers excellent conditions for growing quality tea leaves. Take a 30 -45 minute guided tour to learn how a leaf becomes a beverage;
