On the same day you will visit Dambatenne Tea Factory which is known as Sri Lanka's longest tea factory and experience a Tea Tour where you will learn about the tea making process.

07.00 AM – You will be greeted and picked up by our TUK TUK driver from your hotel in Ella and driven to Lipton's Seat.

08.30 AM – Reach to Lipton’s seat. Lipton’s Seat, the famous viewpoint where Sir Thomas Lipton used to sit and contemplate his plantation with its stony landscape and green tea bushes. On good weather conditions, you will witness some incredible panoramic views you would ever find in the hill-country. You will have a bird’s eye view of the Uva, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Eastern provinces from the same location.

10.30 AM – After enjoying spectacular view, walk through the stunning tea platation to the longest tea factory in Sri Lanka Dambatenne Tea Factory. You will be able to expereince a Tea Tour during this visit. They will demonstrate about the full process of tea making, from fermentation through to grading, with the difference lying in how engaging the guide makes the material.

12.00 PM – Enjoy your lunch at a location with incredible panoramic view.

01.00 PM – After the lunch, you will head back to the departure point through tea plantation.

02.30 PM – You will be taken back to your hotel in Ella.

03.30 PM - Dropped off to your hotel.
