Day 01

Upon arriving in Sri Lanka, meet and assist at the airport by our representative and transfer to a
hotel near Bandaranayke International Airport for your first night.
Arrival will be at midnight around 01.30hrs and hotel rooms will be booked from the previous night.
After taking rest till 10.30hrs you can enjoy a leisure Brunch at the hotel, then checking out and travel to Dambulla.
Visit the Golden rock cave temple and Dambulla wholesale vegetable market.
Check into the hotel near Dambulla or Habarana for dinner and overnight stay at the Hotel.
Note – We are using two hotels in day 01, one hotel near the airport (Room + Brunch) the other hotel near Dambulla or Habarana (Half Board Basis)

Day 02

Breakfast at the hotel and travel to Anuradhapura and Mihinthale for site seen
Anuradhapura UNESCO world heritage site / Sri Maha Bodhi tree / Mihinthale
Picnic lunch at Anuradhapura (not included in price Rs.800/- per person)
Travel back to Habarana for Ayurveda Massage ( Euro 30/- + tips)
Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Habarana or Dambulla

Day 03

Breakfast at the hotel and Morning visit to Sigiriya UNESCO world heritage site.
Village tour with cookery demonstration and lunch.
After lunch visits a silk factory and showroom and enjoy with a Jeep safari at National park (Mineriya or Kaudulla National park or Eco Park).
Note – We do this safari only to see the wild elephants in Sri Lanka.
Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Habarana or Sigiriya.

Village tour

Village tour is an activity designed for tourists to see how is the traditional Sri Lankan Villages looks like and how the farmers work in the field and etc.
The guests will go on a bullock cart, a catamaran and finally they will enjoy a Tuk Tuk ride too.

Day 04

Breakfast at the hotel and travel to Kandy via Mathale.
Enroute...
Visit spice and herbal garden with cookery demonstration and lunch.
Visit the Batik factory or wood carving factory shop.
Visit the most venerated Buddhist temple in Sri Lanka temple of tooth relic.
Enjoy the Kandy traditional cultural show.
Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Kandy.

Day 05

Breakfast at the hotel and a visit Gem museum and royal botanical garden.
Free time in the city – time to explore local street foods.
In the evening, visit a local family for dinner with the cookery demonstration and learn a few steps of Sri Lankan dance.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Kandy.

Day 06

Breakfast and transfer to Kandy railway station and enjoy the most scenic train journey in Sri
Lanka. ( Kandy to Bandarawela or Ella )
Free evening to explore the local market, dinner and overnight stay at Bandarawela or Ella.

Day 07

Breakfast at the hotel and do trekking in tea plantations and visit the Lipton Seat where
Thomas Lipton plantation was, visit the Dambethanna tea factory.

This is a viewpoint where Thomas Lipton used to sit and relax while he was here in Sri Lanka on his tea plantations, we normally go with a small van from Bandarawela, the viewpoint is around 1600m above sea level. We can walk around 5 – 7 km in very nice tea plantations and we visit A Tea factory. It’s not difficult trekking and the sceneries you see will be beautiful ones.

Visit Tamil tea worker house for South Indian lunch.
Afternoon visit nine arches bridge and mini Adams peak at Ella and sit for a Beer at Ella city.
Dinner and overnight stay at Bandarawela or Ella.

Day 08

Breakfast at the hotel and travel to Unawatuna via Udawalawe.
Enroute...
Stop at Rawana waterfall.
Visit the Udawalawe Elephant transit home in feeding time at 12 noon.
Lunch at a local restaurant ( Rs.750/- onwards).
Check in the beach hotel in Unawatuna and explore the beach (no dinner included in the beach
hotel).

Day 09

Breakfast at the hotel and free morning.
Visit a fishermen house for seafood lunch.
Photo stop at stilt fishermen, visit sea turtles conservation project and a trip to Galle Dutch fort in
the evening and free time to explore.
