Your name will be paged in the arrivals lounge at the Airport and welcomed by the driver/guide who will escort you to the car and transfer you to a hotel in Sigiriya, which will take you approximately 3-4 hours to reach.

1st Day AIR PORT SIGIRIYA
On arrival at the Colombo International Airport. You will be met and welcomed by a representative of Taprobane Tours and Travels and leave for Sigiriya.

2nd Day SIGIRIYA- KAWDULLA - POLONNARUWA
After breakfast climb to the Rock fortress Sigiriya and later visit the Kawdulla National park in the evening. Sigiriya (Lion's rock) is an ancient rock fortress and palace built during the reign of King Kassapa I (AD 477 495). Contemporary with the paintings of Ajantha and Ellora Caves in India, highlights being the Frescoes, Mirror Wall and the Lion's Paw,and it is one of the Seven World Heritage Sites of Sri Lanka. Kaudulla National Park is also one of the sites in which the Gray Slender Loris is reportedly found in Sri Lanka. Sri Lankan Sambar Deer, Sri Lankan Axis Deer, Chevrotain, Wild boar, Sri Lankan Leopard, and Sloth Bear are other mammals found in the park

3rd Day. POLONNARUWA MINNERIYA ANURADHAPURA
After breakfast visit Minnariya National Park The national park's faunal species include 24 species of mammals, 160 species of birds, 9 species of amphibians, 25 species of reptiles, 26 species of fish, and 75 species of butterflies.
Transfer to Anuradhapura and relax in the evening
Overnight stay at a Hotel in Anuradhapura.
4th Day - ANURADHAPURA WILPATTU KANDY
After Breakfast do a Jeep Safari of Wilpattu National Park.
31 species of mammals have been identified within Wilpattu national park. Mammals that are identified as threatened species living within the Wilpattu National Park are the elephant, Sloth bear, leopard and water Buffalo. Sāmbhar, spotted deer, mongoose, mouse and shrew are more of Wilpattu's residents.
Later transfer to Kandy and in the evening commence a city tour of Kandy including the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Buddha - by far the most important place of worship for Buddhists world over, Upper Lake drive a place where one could have a bird's eye view of the city below.

5th Day. KANDY PERADENIYA NUWARA ELIYA
After breakfast visit the Royal Botanical gardens in Peradeniya, It is the largest botanical garden on the island. It is renowned for the collection the variety of Orchids, and has more than 300 varieties of Orchids, more than 5000 spices, medicinal plants and palms trees. Attached it is the National Herbarium
On the way visit a Tea Factory and a Plantation to witness the manufacturing process of world famous "Ceylon Tea" and to taste a pure un-blended cup of factory fresh tea. Also pass by eye-catching views with waterfalls. Evening city tour of Nuwara Eliya Including Victoria Park, Gregory Lake and the Golf Course, the 119 year old club is situated within the city limits. Established in 1891. One of Asia's finest Golf Clubs.

6th Day. - NUWAR ELIYA- HORTON PLAINS YALA
After breakfast visit Horton plains for trek to "World's End" & the beautiful "Bakers falls". World's End is a sheer precipice with a 4,000 ft (1,219 m) drop. It is situated at the southern boundary of the park. Later proceed to Yala.

7th Day. - YALA
After breakfast do a jeep safari at Yala National park,
Yala National Park is the second largest and most visited national park in Sri Lanka. The park covers 979 square kilometers, The park is best known for its variety of its wild animals. It is important for the conservation of Sri Lankan Elephants and aquatic birds

8th Day. - YALA UDAWALAWA
After Breakfast proceed to Udawalawa and visit the Udawalawa National park
Udawalawe is a good bird watching site. Birds Such as Sri Lankan Spur fowl, Red-faced Malkoha, Sri Lanka Grey Hornbill, Brown-capped Babbler, and Sri Lanka Jungle fowl are among the breeding resident birds. White Wagtail and Black-capped Kingfisher are rare migrants. A variety of water birds visit the reserve including cormorants, the Spot-billed Pelican, Asian Open bill, Painted Stork, Black-headed Ibis and Eurasian Spoonbill.
The open parkland attracts birds of prey such as White-bellied Sea Eagle, Crested Serpent-eagle, Grey-headed Fish Eagle, Booted Eagle, and Changeable Hawk-eagle. Land birds are in abundance, and include Indian Roller, Indian Peafowl, Malabar Pied Hornbill and Pied Cuckoo.

9th Day.- UDAWALAWA - NEGOMBO
After Breakfast Transfer to Negombo.
