An ideal relaxation tour if one enjoys nature. You will be driven through and given the opportunity to explore places that are not often visited by foreign visitors. You will see at least 2 waterfalls - more during wet season. This is not a rushed tour where one needs to go from point to point in a hurry. The vehicle is exclusive to your group and you can relax and enjoy the best of Sri Lanka's natural environment. Our professional drivers and guides have minimum 5 years experience and will share personal insights as you travel - even allowing you to enjoy local fruits, juices and food.

Itinerary

Day 1: Relaxed drive to Ella, see a picturesque waterfall. Stop for a drink of Thambili

Stop At: Bopath Ella (Bopath Falls), Agalawatta, Kuruwita 70500 Sri Lanka
Bopath Ella has a shape very similar to the leaf of the Sacred fig or "Bo" tree, which has earned it this name. Local myths say that it is haunted and that it hides a treasure trove.

Day 2: Explore Ella with opportunity to climb Little Adam’s Peak and visit a tea plantation before heading to Yala

Stop At: Little Adam's Peak, Passara Road, Ella 90090 Sri Lanka
Ideally climbed around 7am, one must have a moderate level of fitness. This excursion is not recommended for the elderly or anyone with a recent injury. Climb up the slope and enjoy the magnificent vistas of the surrounding landscape. An excellent place to take some photographs
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Lipton’s Seat, Haputale 90160 Sri Lanka
Visit the point from which Sir Thomas Lipton surveyed his tea plantation. Whilst Sir Thomas rode up on horse back, today we can either hike up (takes about 2 hours) or catch a local TUK-TUK. Spend about 1 hour on this excursion before heading back. Complimentary cup of tea at the peak (subject to availability). You could also visit the tea factory for a tour

Day 3: Explore Yala national park. See exotic beaches, natural wonders and pristine sunsets.

Stop At: Yala National Park Sri Lanka
A jeep safari. Expect to see leopard, elephant, buffalo, monkeys, bears and crocodiles plus a wide variety of birds and other animals.
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Blow Hole Hummanaya, Dikwella 81200 Sri Lanka
Arrive around noon to witness the water gushing through this natural blowhole. As the water flow is dependent on the sea atmosphere, you might have to wait some time. The blowhole is reached via a small local fishing village. Please mind your step as the pathway to the blow-hole is uneven
