Angurukaramulla Temple which has a history of 300 years. The highlights of this temple are the historic library; the dragon entrance and the colourful murals which make this place worth visiting.

Stop At: St. Mary's Church, Main Street, Negombo 22100 Sri Lanka

St. Mary’s Church, one of the largest cathedrals in Sri Lanka and a quite prominent site which plays a main religious role. The unique architecture of this church shouldn’t be missed by the travellers who visit Negombo.

Sri Singama Kali Amman Kovil is a major Hindu religious site. Here you will be able to witness and capture the stunning murals and sculptures.

Continue your introduction to Negombo with visits to the Dutch Fort which has since been converted into a prison and is still in use for this purpose.

After lunch make your way to the Dutch canal where you can take a boat ride along the waterways built by the Dutch for transportation of cargo. Enter the Negombo lagoon and get a glimpse into the abundance of birds and other wildlife that live within these marshlands. Observe the fishermen preparing for the next catch and keep a look out for catamarans as they make their way out to sea.

Head back to the shores of the lagoon and make your way to Negombo beach stretch to enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the sunset at your leisure. You will be dropped back to your hotel by our guide.
