7.45 AM - Its a Buddhist temple in the city of Kandy and it is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha.

9.15 AM - Its stands at 26.83 m (88.0 ft) high and is one of the tallest Buddha statues in Sri Lanka. In the late 1980s Dammarama began to build a statue of Buddha, with construction of the statue completed in 1992.
