This experience starts with a unique tour of the vegetable market, where guests can explore the array of vegetables available in Sri Lanka. This is followed by an introduction to Sri Lankan cooking, that unravels the secrets to cooking with spices. Guests will learn which spices are important to have in your home kitchen and take home a new culinary experience.

The tour starts in the Galle Fort. Guests will be brought on a shopping trip to the vegetable market and pick all they need to start their cooking lesson. After this they will travel to a short distance to Pilgrims Outdoor Kitchen located directly behind the city jail. Transport is provided free of charge.
