Day 01

Arrive in Sri Lanka > Relax in Negombo

Arrive in Sri Lanka - You will be welcomed by our representative (Tour Guide) at the airport on your arrival and you will be taken to your hotel in Negombo which is just 10 km down the road. It is the ideal place to relax, recover from jet lag and let your biological clock to adjust to the new atmosphere after hours fly. Our Guide will brief you the program for the next day and let you have a good sleep or you can wander around!

Day 02

Leave for Kalpitiya and Tour Around

On the 2nd day after a good rest, leave for Kalpitiya, your first holiday destination. The drive will take about 3 hours. We will visit Munneswaram Hindu temple, one of the 5 major Hindu temples in Sri Lanka en-route to Kalpitiya. After checking to the hotel, have lunch, relax and visit important places around the area in bicycles.

Activities: Cycling around the fishing village, Visiting nearby churches, Dutch fort, Kite surfing (Seasonal)

Day 03

Dolphine Watching > Leave for Anuradhapura

On the day 03, after breakfast you will be going on a boat safari for dolphins and whale watching. The boat safari takes 2 – 3 hours and after that we come back to the hotel, have lunch and get ready to leave for Anuradhapura ancient kingdom and relax.

Day 04

Sightseeing in Anuradhapura Sacred City > Habarana

After breakfast, we will go around the sacred city for sight-seeing. We will make visits to the significant places and monuments in and around the sacred city. This is a great opportunity to learn about Buddhism, History, ancient architecture, Hydraulic engineering, sculpture arts and the technology that our ancient Sinhalese have had over 2000 years ago.

After the tour around the sacred city, we leave for Habarana for the next day.

Day 05

Sigiriya (Lion Rock) > Minneriya National Park

On this day, after breakfast we leave for Sigiriya (Lion Rock). If you are not tired, we are happy to take you to nearby Pidurangala rock from which you can have picturesque view of the Lion Rock. The climbs are not tough and most people can do it. After lunch, you will be taken on an exciting evening jeep safari to Minneriya National Park to see the wild life in this region. After the safari, it is the time to end the day with a relaxing herbal massage.

Day 06

Dambulla Cave Temples > Kandy

After having breakfast, we leave for Kandy, the last kingdom of Sri Lanka. We visit Dambulla Cave temple, another world heritage site en route to Kandy. After reaching to Kandy, we visit our main attraction, the temple of the tooth and then to the Royal Botanical Gardens. After visiting the botanical garden we you can enjoy the Traditional Cultural Dance session to end the day. Then check in to the hotel and you can relax or have a walk around the Kandy lake enjoying the beauty of the temple’s illumination reflecting in the water.

Day 07

Leave for Nuwara Eliya and Tour around the City

In the morning after breakfast, we leave for the hill country, Nuwara Eliya to witness the colonial heritage in Sri Lanka. On our way to Nuwaraeliya, we will visit a Tea factory and learn how the world-famous Ceylon tea is made. We will go on a city tour around Nuwaraeliya to see the important buildings, structures, monuments built during the colonial period (1815 – 1948). Relax in the evening.

Day 08

Sightseeing in and around Kandy

Today, Early in the morning we start our journey to the Horton Plains national Park which is the only national park in the central highland. We go on a beautiful trekking about 9 km. World’s End and Bakers Falls are the famous attractions in the Horton plains.

After that, we will come back to the hotel and leave for Nanu Oya railway station to catch the train to go on a beautiful train journey through the tea plantations, tunnels and mountain ranges to Ella, the Southern edge of the Central highlands. After reaching to Ella, check in to your hotel and relax.

Day 09

Ella > Tuk-Tuk Ride to Haputale - Back to Ella

Ella and Haputale are wonderful places to enjoy the great views of the central highlands. In the morning, you will go on a Tuk-Tuk journey to Haputale on the winding roads through the tea plantation to the Lipton’s Seat view point to appreciate the beauty of the low land of Sri Lanka from above.

On returning, you can explore around Ella and enjoy the beauty of the place with little bit of trekking and gentle hiking. Enjoy the night, have a good sleep and we will start tomorrow leisurely.

Day 10

Ella > Yala National Park

On the day 10, we leave for Tissamaharama, the nearest town to the Yala National Park. We will visit the beautiful ‘Rawana-Ella’ waterfall and the Buduruwagala temple en route to the National park.

The temple is famous for its 51 feet tall Buddha’s statue and the other sautés of Aspirant Buddhas carved out on a rock face. This Buddha’s statue is considered as the tallest Buddha statue in the world after the destruction of the Bamiyan Statues in Afghanistan.

Your over night stay will be in a camp site at the Buffer zone of the National Park and there you will enjoy and experience the luxury away from a luxury hotel, unlimited enjoyment!

Day 11

Jeep Safari at the National Park > Tangalle

On this day we will go on a jeep safari in the most visited National Park in Sri Lanka. Of all the national parks of the country, Yala offers the greatest opportunities to sight brought variety of wildlife, with the Sri Lankan Leopard being the number one encounter. After the exciting wild life safari, we will proceed to Tangalle. The picturesquely located four miles wide bay is a paradise for swimmers and divers. This un-crowded, wide-open and spacious beach is perfect for a peaceful and relaxing beach holiday.

Day 12

Leave for Galle > Galle Fort and Around

After spending another relaxing beach holiday in Tangalle, we will proceed to our next destination Galle, the capital of the Southern Sri Lanka. On the way we can enjoy the picturesque beauty of the southern coastal belt. Also you can enjoy the beauty of Unawatuna and the Jungle beach near Galle.

After check in to your hotel and will go for a walk along the Galle Dutch Fort rampart and visit important places and monuments there. Galle fort is a lovely place to relax and watch the beautiful sunset.

Day 13

Leave for Bentota > Leisure

You are almost done and reaching to the end of your 14 day tour with us in Sri Lanka. After Galle, we will proceed to Bentota Beach resort to spend your last day in Sri Lanka before flying back home. Bentota Beach is the perfect place to wrap up your adventure tour with lovely memories, relax and enjoy the thrilling water sport of any kind to your choice.

On the way to Bentota, we will take you on a beautiful boat safari through the mangroves in ‘Madhu Ganga’ (Madhu River - a RAMSAR wetland) and as the last stop, we will visit a turtle hatchery as well.
