Itinerary

Day 1: BIA - Negombo

Pass By: Negombo, Negombo, Western Province
Upon arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport, collect your baggage, meet and greet with the chauffeur guide, and proceed on your tour of the island. Transfer to Negombo, check in to the hotel and refresh.

Spend rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2: Negombo - Kandy

Stop At: Negombo, Negombo, Western Province
After breakfast, enjoy a city tour in Negombo. Negombo is a Dutch inspired modest beach town close to the Airport and a much easier place to find your Sri Lankan footing.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Kandy, Kandy, Kandy District, Central Province
Continue journey to Kandy. En–route stop at a Spice Garden to witness spices growing in their natural habitat. Grab this opportunity to learn about spices and their uses in Sri Lankan cuisine.

Upon arrival in Kandy, check in and spend the evening at leisure.

Overnight in Kandy on BB basis.

Day 3: Kandy City Tour - Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic

Stop At: Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, Sri Dalada Veediya, Kandy 20000 Sri Lanka
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed on a city tour in Kandy. Visit an Arts & Crafts workshop, an Oriental Market Place, a Bazaar and a Gem Lapidary. Also, visit Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (optional) and witness a cultural show. Kandy Temple is considered to be one of the holiest and most important places in Buddhist religion.

Upon completion, return to the hotel.

Day 4: Kandy - Kitulgala - White Water Rafting (Optional)

Pass By: Kitulgala, Kitulgala, Sabaragamuwa Province
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to Kitulgala. Kitulgala is the base for white-water rafting in Sri Lanka and is also the location used for the popular movie ‘Bridge on the river Kwai’.

Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel and relax.

Optional – Enjoy a white-water rafting session in Kitulgala.

Day 5: Kitulgala - Deniyaya

Pass By: Deniyaya, Deniyaya, Southern Province
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Deniyaya. Upon check-in at the hotel, enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 6: Trek in Sinharaja Rainforest

Stop At: Sinharaja Forest Entrance, Sinharaja Access Road Viharahena, Deniyaya 81500 Sri Lanka
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed on a trek in the Sinharaja Rainforest.

Located in south-west Sri Lanka, Sinharaja is the country's last viable area of primary tropical rainforest. More than 60% of the trees are endemic and many of them are considered rare. There is much endemic wildlife, especially birds, but the reserve is also home to over 50% of Sri Lanka's endemic species of mammals and butterflies, as well as many kinds of insects, reptiles and rare amphibians.

Day 8: Galle Dutch Fort

Stop At: Galle Fort, Church Street, Galle 80000 Sri Lanka
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Galle Fort and enjoy a city tour.

Galle is a jewel. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this historic city is a delight to explore on foot, an endlessly exotic old trading port blessed with imposing Dutch-colonial buildings, ancient mosques and churches, grand mansions and museums.

Upon completion, return to the hotel.

Day 9: City tour in Colombo

Stop At: Colombo, Colombo, Western Province
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Colombo.
