ENTRANCE TICKETS CAN BE TAKEN BY THE PARK COUNTER

We start the jeep tour from the park's main entrance (GPS: 6 ° 26'18.2 "N 80 ° 53'19.0" E) near the car park. If you are staying at a hotel within a 5 km radius from the park entrance, you have the right to patronize your hotel.

Once we get into the standard procedure of entering the park, we will visit the unnamed forest of Udawalawe, a famous home of the Sri Lankan Elephants.

We first walk to the park's savanna grasslands to see elephants, foxes, deer, aquatic buffalo, rabbits, mongoose, bundicoot. We also keep an eye on birds like crocodiles and sea eagles in wetlands. , Fisherman Eagle, Brahmin Kite, Crested Snake Eagle, Sri Lankan Jungle Poultry, Spur Cock, Green Pigeon, Gray Hornbill, Spot-Billed Pelican, Little Cormorant, Green B-Eater, Crested Tree Swift and Trees.

Soon we will be heading to the banks of the dazzling dawn reservoir with big mountains in the background. End of the safari return to your hotel.

Itinerary

Morning at 6.00 am. We’ll enter the park. We’ll be able to listen to the nice Bird Songs. Then we drive towards the Leopards area and find leopards. After that, we’ll be able to visit Leopard Rock area to find the Sloth Bears. After that we’ll drive to the River side area for the Breakfast. We drive to the deep Jungle around 10.00 am. Finally, we’ll go back to the hotel.

Evening at 2.30 pm We’ll enter the park. We’ll be able to listen to the nice Bird Songs. Then we drive towards the Leopards area and find leopards. After that, we’ll be able to visit Leopard Rock area to find the Sloth Bears. After that we’ll drive to the River side area for little bit short break . We drive to the deep Jungle around 6.00 pm. Finally, we’ll go back to the hotel.
