Sigtuna also know as the first city was founded over 1,000 years ago, also know as the first City, founded by a Viking chieftain was one of the most important cities of Sweden long before Stockholm even existed, a walk and guided tour of the old churches, mediavel center and even more runes!.

The Sigtuna Museum covers the history of Sigtuna from the Stone Age to the present day. The first part tells stories from the first salesmen of the Stone Age to life in the city of Sigtuna a thousand years ago and on to the greatness of the churches in the 16th century. In the second part, we take a closer look at how and why people traveled to and from Sigtuna

Along Sigtuna´s beautiful boardwalk you will have Lunch at an excellent restaurant with home-made dishes, while enjoying a lovely view of Lake Mälaren, a very sweet garden is available in the warmer season and the cuisine is typically Swedish (examples; Shrimp salad with hand peeled shrimp, Chicken salad with feta cheese, Västerbottenpie with reindeer roaster, Baked potato with skagen stir, Goulash soup with garlic bread, Salmon pudding with side salad, Lasagna with side salad), children menu available and Vegetarian upon request.
