In 3 days, we will take you to visit Taiwan's most scenic places. You are going to visit Sun Moon lake, Chunghua Lukang Historic Area and Alishan National Scenic Area. You can take sightseeing boat to see the Sun Moon lake and take a Alishan mountain train to have fun in Alishan.

Itinerary

Day 1: Taipei-Taichung

Stop At: Sun Moon Lake, Zhongshan Rd., Yuchi Township, 555 Taiwan
Pick up from Hotel~Sun Moon Lake (Wen Wu Temple~Ita Thao)~Sightseeing by boat~Miyahara Ophthalmology~Taichung~Hotel

Sun Moon Lake
Sun Moon Lake, also nicknamed “honeymoon lake,” has been selected as one of the “Eight Views of Taiwan” for over a hundred years. The lake is named so due to that the shape of its eastern part, which is like the sun and the western part, which is like a crescent moon.

Miyahara Ophthalmology
Miyahara is a red-brick architecture built by Miyahara Takeo, a Japanese ophthalmology doctor in 1927. It was the largest ophthalmology clinic in Taichung during the Japanese colonial period.

Day 2: Taichung-Lukang-Chiayi

Stop At: Lukang, Lane 42, 505 Taiwan
Pick up from Hotel~Lukang Historic Area (Mazu Temple~Lukang Old Street)~head to Chiayi~Hotel

Lukang Historic Area
The historic site is perhaps the only place in Taiwan which best preserves the architecture stemming from as early as the Qing Dynasty.Today, these traditional architectural pieces with brick walls, tiled roof as well as wooden door and windows are listed as a historic site. In addition to the main street, the winding brick streets and the narrow Osmanthus Lane are another area which had been filled with shops and households since early times.

Visit Dafo Scenic Area
Duration: 4 hours

Day 3: Chiayi-Taipei

Stop At: Alishan National Forest Recreation Area, No. 59, Zhongzheng Vil., Zhongzheng Vil., Alishan Township Taiwan
After having breakfast in hotel, you will visit Aslishan. Driving 2 hours to Alishan National Scenic Area. You can visit tourist attractions, such as Three Generation of wood, and Sisters Lakes. Also, you can have an experience on Alishan train. Finally, you will be back to Taipei City.

Alishan National Scenic Area
Alishan is blessed with bountiful natural resources, such as sun rise views, a sea of clouds and old forests. Especially as a popular folk song goes, Alishan has amazed people with its “lush green mountains and deep blue waters.” No matter in spring, summer, autumn or winter, visitors can expect to appreciate some of its beauty. For years, Alishan has been famous for its historical forest railway and indigenous tribes, too.
