Gombe National Park is located on the western border of Tanzania and the Congo at the shores of Lake Tanganyika. It is most famous for its chimpanzee population that was observed by Dr. Jane Goodall who dedicated many years in its forests studying the behaviour of the endangered chimpanzees. Gombe Stream’s main attraction are the chimpanzee families that live protected in the park’s boundaries.

08:00 am, you will meet our guide at Aqua Lodge Premises hotel in Kigoma (meeting point) transfer to the Lake for boat departure to Gombe National Park, Our captain will take you with a private boat all the way to Gombe National Park (2 Hours).

Our guide will explain to you all facts & history of Lake Tanganiyka. The boat will be waiting for you until you finish your trip.10:00 am Once you arrive the Gombe National Park our guides will prepare you for the walking safari. Please note that the park is about 52 sqm big and good shoes are required as the terrain can get quite difficult. Our guides will do their best to help you to spot the chimps and other species. On your way through the park you will see the Kakombe waterfalls and you will walk along the shores of Lake Tanganyika.4:30 pm You will start your way back to the park entrance where you can enjoy lunch and relax at the beach.5:30 pm Start your boat trip back to Kigoma.

Our guide will assist you during all the trip and will take you to your hotel.7:30 pm Arrival at Aqua Lodge Premises hotel in Kigoma (meeting point)The transfer from the Aqua Lodge Premises hotel in Kigoma to your home place is not included.
