10 days Follow the Migration (Kenya and Tanzania )

This safari is well-suited for travellers with more time to discover the immense variety of East Africa. You will visit the highlights of northern Tanzania such as the Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater and the wide-open plains of the Serengeti. Furthermore you will visit Lake Victoria, the largest lake in Africa and Kenya’s world-famous game reserve, the Masai Mara.

Day 1 Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After an extensive game drive through the park, you will leave in the late afternoon and travel to a nearby campsite for your overnight. LD

Day 2 Tarangire Area – Lake Manyara National Park – Mto wa Mbu

After breakfast you will leave the Tarangire Area and continue to the Lake Manyara Park. After a game drive in the park you will drive to the same camp for overnight stay. BLD

Day 3 Mto wa Mbu -Ngorongoro Crater – Serengeti National Park

You will have breakfast at dawn and see the sunrise over the crater before travelling down the steep trail into the crater below. Herds of wildebeests and zebras cross the border between Tanzania and Kenya in search of fresh grass and water, with predators waiting patiently in the shadows. The night will be spent at a campsite in the central Serengeti. BLD

Day 4 Serengeti National Park

You will set off on an early morning game drive while enjoying the warming rays of the sun. You will head back to your camp in the late afternoon for your evening meal and overnight. BLD

Day 5 Serengeti National Park – Lake Victoria

After an early breakfast, you will start the journey to Lake Victoria, the largest lake in Africa and the second largest freshwater lake in the world. You will be able to experience the lives of the local people – see the fisherman at work or the children playing in the school’s playground. You will spend the night at a campsite. BLD

Day 6 Lake Victoria – Masai Mara Area

Lake Victoria boasts one of the largest fishing industries in Africa and fish has become a staple in the diets of the local population.  Arriving at the border you will bid farewell to your Tz team and start your Kenyan with a new vehicle and new team. Overnight Lenchada Tourist Camp. BLD

Day 7 – 8 Masai Mara Game Reserve

The following days your experienced guide. The Masai Mara offers spectacular game viewing throughout the year and sightings are not solely dependent on the migration or seasons. You will stay the nights at a same camp. BLD

Day 9 Masai Mara Area – Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast leave the game reserve and journey to the Lake Nakuru National Park, which you will reach by early afternoon. You will spend the night at Lanet Matfam Resort. BLD

Day 10 Lake Nakuru National Park – Nairobi

After breakfast you will continue your journey to capital of Nairobi. On your way to the park gate you will enjoy a last game drive through the park. Arriving in Nairobi, you will be taken to the city center or directly to the airport. BL
