Selous Game Reserve is a protected area in southern Tanzania. It covers a total area of 50,000 km2(19,000 sq mi) and has additional buffer zones. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1982 due to its wildlife diversity and undisturbed nature. Some of the typical wildlife of the miombo inhabits the reserve, such as African bush elephant, black rhino, hippopotamus, lion, East African wild dog, Cape buffaloes, Masai giraffe, Plains zebra, and Nile crocodile.

Day 1: Arrival: At Julius Nyerere International Airport

Stop At: Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Dar Es Salaam Region

Pick you up at the hotel and transferred to Selous Game Reserve for 5 - 6 hours, lunch at the lodge, go for an afternoon boat safari through the Rufiji River. Here you can experience the aquatic life mostly crocodiles and hippos, also you may be able to see some animals come for drinking, also you can see uncountable number of bird species since the reserve has over 440 known species of birds while enjoying an amazing reserve's sunset. Day 3: Half day of game drive

Stop At: Selous Game Reserve, Selous Game Reserve, Lindi Region
Half day of game drive with lunch box, Early breakfast at 07.00 and then drive to the Selous Game Reserve. All day game drive in a specially modified safari vehicle with a professional guide, in which you should see and learn much about a large number of animals, including all the great favorites – lion, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, zebra – and all the other major species including the now rare African hunting dog.
