Ruaha National Park, the less visited South, lies deep in the South with its striking, rugged landscapes and abundant wildlife. The great Ruaha River that provides life to the park, flows through the eastern side of the park and is home to hippos, crocodiles and the bird count is over 400 species  of birds such as Racket Tailed Roller, Pale billed Hornbill, Shelley’s Sunbird and Hoopoes.

Mikumi National Park ,”The mini Serengeti” The open horizons and abundant wildlife of the Mkata Floodplain  the popular  Commonly seen animals are Elephant, Giraffe, Zebra, Antelope, Wildebeest, Eland, Crocodile, Hippo, Baboon,  if you are lucky, won’t miss to see Lion & very lucky to see a Leopard, over 300 spices of birds are seen are saddle bill stork, hammer kop, malachite kingfisher, lilac breasted roller, yellow throated long claw, battler eagle etc. Another attraction: the Hippo Pools, where you can watch hippos 

Day 1: Dar es saalam to Mikumi National park

Pick up in the morning at Airport or in Hotel at Dar es saalam  drive to Mikumi national park, With stop Morogoro town for Hot lunch, Take short break Then drive to Mikumi park gate for afternoon and evening gamedrive Great welcome by herd of elephants, Girrafes, Impalas and many more while dinner and Overnight at Vamos Hotel

Day 2:   Departing Mikumi to Ruaha national park

After breakfast in Mikumi  ,we head off to Ruaha National park stopping  to indulge in a sumptuous meal  of choice during lunch time.  The roads beyond Mikumi climb along the Kitonga hills that form part of Udzungwa mountains. Following the Ruaha river  ,climbing the rift escarpment passing the town of Iringa and finally ,we reach Ruaha national park. In time for dinner and overnight lodging in Ruaha.

Day 3: Ruaha national park  Full game drive

A game drive in Ruaha National park  will be an unforgettable glimpse of East Africa elephants,believed to be the highest concentration in East Africa. Antelopes and Kudu , endangered wild dogs and leopards,lions,zebras ,impalas ,jackals and foxes.Over 571 bird species and vast vegetation.  

 

Day 4:

On day four we take off back to Dar –es-Salaam from Ruaha National Park.
