Start your game drive in Lake Manyara National Park early in the morning. Drive past exotic trees such as giant figs and baobabs. Transfer to Serengeti National Park after lunch and reach your campsite in time for dinner.
With its wide, open spaces, bright blue skies and a landscape filled with a variety of creatures, the fabled Serengeti typifies the dream of 'Old Africa'. Large prides of lions laze in its tall grasses. Families of elephants feed on the bark of acacia trees and trumpet at each other across the plains, while giraffes, gazelles, monkeys, eland and a whole range of African wildlife present themselves in awe-inspiring numbers. Stay overnight at Seronera Campsite.

Visit: Serengeti Hippo Pool, Serengeti National Park

Today will be your Serengeti game-viewing day. Go out on a game drive after breakfast. See a large variety of animal, including buffalo, hippopotamus, elephants, giraffes, antelopes, Thompson’s and Grant’s gazelles and lions.
If you are here during the wildebeest migration season, you will get the chance to see one of the wonders of nature. Venture out for another game drive in the afternoon, after you have had your lunch. Stay overnight at Seronera Campsite.

Visit: Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area, Arusha, Arusha Region

A lovely drive takes us from Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Crater. Stay in a lodge that sits dramatically on the rim of the crater and enjoy panoramic views of the world’s largest unflooded and unbroken caldera. Be prepared for some remarkable views down the crater floor.
The completely enclosed, circular crater is some twelve miles across, with steep walls of over 2,000 feet. Enjoy a short nature walk on your own in the afternoon or just stay at the lodge/camp and admire the view.

Visit: Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Arusha Region

Descend down the 2,000 feet crater wall to explore this natural zoological park and observe a variety of wildlife: elephants, rhinos, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, zebras, wildebeests, Thomson's gazelles, reedbucks and buffalo. The lovely crested crane (similar to a peacock) can be found in great profusion here and, if you are lucky, you might even spot a bat-eared fox.
The balance of predator and prey in this extraordinary ecosystem is so precise that animals seldom leave. Your exact game-viewing route is decided on the spot by your expert safari guides, depending on where the animals are. (Don't forget to carry your camera.)
Spend a memorable morning exploring the crater's breadth and depth and return to the camp for a late lunch (only ½ day tours are allowed in the crater). You may drive back to Arusha now and drop off at City Link Hotel or Kilimanjaro Airport.
