5 Days majestic Tanzania safari

On this 5-day Lodge safari. You'll start in either Tarangire National Park or Lake Manyara National Park before spending three days in the Serengeti National Park following the movements of the Wildebeest Migration. You'll then finish your drive in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. There's no better way to see the 2019/2020 Wildebeest Migration in action and see the amazing parks that have made Tanzania so famous.

Day 1. Arusha City– Tarangire Park or Lake Manyara park

On this day, you can choose to go to Tarangire Park or Lake Manyara Park. Depending on the time of year, each of these parks offers a different safari experience. Your guide can advise you as to which is best to visit during your safari.

If Tarangire Park, You'll depart from Arusha after breakfast for the approximately two hour drive to Tarangire Park. Along the way you'll pass bustling Masai villages and the vast, open plains that have become synonymous with images of Africa.

If Lake Manyara Park, You'll depart from Arusha after breakfast for the drive to Lake Manyara Park. The journey takes approximately two hours, but we'll pass through the market town of Mto Wa Mbu along the way. This agricultural and fresh produce market is a melting pot of local cultures and a souvenir hunter's paradise. We retire to the comfort of the lodge for an evening meal and some rest.

Day 2. Tarangire or Lake Manyara Area – Serengeti Park

Today you will set out on your journey through the lush highlands where corn, coffee and wheat grown, to travel to the Serengeti Park. Game en route, arrival afternoon. In the late afternoon you will arrive at Serengeti Acacia Camp in the Seronera Valley, where you will stay the night. Breakfast; Lunch; Dinner. Accommodation: Serengeti Tented camp

Day 3: Full day game drive Serengeti Park

Today you will explore the Serengeti National Park. Your guide will take you closer to where the migrating herds are to be found. Their exact location differ yearly as they migrate according to the rainfalls, but your guide will know where you will be able to see them best. Lurking close by you might even spot some leopards, cheetahs and lions. After an eventful day you will return to your Serengeti tented Camp in the Seronera area for your evening meal and overnight. Breakfast; Lunch; Dinner. 

Day 4.Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Area-Karatu

After an early breakfast you will head out for another game drive in the Serengeti then head to Ngorongoro highland, after a pleasant picnic lunch, it's time to drive eastwards to visit another spectacular setting for Tanzania's wildlife, the famous Ngorongoro Crater. On arrival, settle in at the lodge while a tasty, hot dinner is prepared for you. Tomorrow, the wonders of the crater await us.

Day 5. Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

Early in the morning you will head down the forested slopes into the crater on a steep and narrow path.Teaming with wildlife, you will be able to see many animals in a short period of time and might even be able to tick the “Big Five” – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard – off your list.  You will spend the entire morning exploring the park and after a picnic lunch in the crater, you will return to Arusha where you will arrive by early evening. Breakfast; Lunch
