6 Days Kilimanjaro Climb Machame Scenic Route

This is 6 Day Kilimanjaro Climb on Budget starting at Machame gate all the way to the peak, fully supported with special tents for visitors, mattress and pillow as well as a mess tent with lightweight tables and chairs. Many Climbers have a preference to 6-Days Machame route with an overnight stay in Campsite arranged by your guide and porters. This will comfort your trek in addition to attractive scenic view covered by mountain vegetation.

6 Days Kilimanjaro Climb, Machame Scenic Route –

Tour Program.

Day 1: Drive to Kilimanjaro National Park Machame Gate, Hike to Machame Camp

Soon after your arrival at the gate you begin your 6 Day Kilimanjaro Climb from 1830m to 3050m high reaching the Machame camp, passing through montane forest habitat for 11km reaching the camp after 5-6 hours. In the camp you will overnight.

Day 2: Hike to Shira Camp

after breakfast in the morning we will proceed with the trekking tour from an elevation of 3050m to 3850m, which is 5km distance taking you 4-5 hours to reach at the camp . While passing through Moorland climate to the the camp where you will have overnight.

Day 3: Hike to Barranco Camp

on this day we will have breakfast then hike from an elevation of 3850m to 4000m, using 5-6 hours to cover 10km passing through Semi-desert habitat to the camp. In the camp we will have overnight.

Day 4: Hike to Barafu Camp 

in the morning we will take breakfast at the camp then we will continue with trekking tour from 40o0m to 4700m spending 6 -8 hours passing through Alpine desert habitat for 9km. Our destination will be at the Barafu camp where you will have overnight.

Day 5: Hike to Summit, down to Mweka Camp

the day begins with a breakfast then we will first ascend 5km which is from 4700m to 5895m reaching the summit . You will spend some few minutes then descend down to a height of 3090m which is 13km from the summit, through stone scree and ice-capped summit habitat reaching the Mweka camp. In the camp you will have overnight.

Day 6: Hike to Mweka Gate, drive to Arusha.

We will have breakfast then descend to 1680m high taking you 3-4 hours traveling for 10 km through montane forest habitat to reach the gate. At the gate the authority will grant you the trekking certificate then you will have celebration you’re your crew before leaving. Please you should not forget to tip your porters.
