Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Tanzania (Arrival)

Stop At: Rivertrees Country Inn, Arusha, Tanzania
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) then transferred to Rivertrees Country Inn for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Stop At: Tarangire National Park, Tarangire National Park, Arusha Region
After breakfast depart for Tarangire, Tanzania's third largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population for game drive, with picnic lunch. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, monkeys, lots of birds and up to six thousand elephants.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park

Stop At: Tarangire National Park, Tarangire National Park, Arusha Region
This Park is the least visited of the parks along Tanzania's northern circuit, and it's a crying shame. (Optional activity this day: Walking safari for 2 hours from 6am with armed ranger, additional price will apply). The diversity of wildlife makes it one of the best parks in the country for taking breathtaking photos or simply basking in the beauty of the world's largest land mammals. This offers a great opportunity to see plenty of animals in one place and to witness the predator-prey relationship in action.

Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park

Stop At: Lake Manyara National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Arusha Region
On this day you will have a full day game drive in Lake Manyara National Park with picnic lunch. This park is known for its breathtaking panoramic views, waterfalls and babbling brooks with clear water and hot springs. It is located between the rocks of the Great Rift Valley and Lake Manyara. Of the approximately 390 km2 that make up the park, two-thirds of that is water. The rest of the park is a large strip of land between the lake and the rocks.
The beauty of this park is partly due to its large variety of wildlife, grasslands, forests and water. Lake Manyara has one of the largest populations of water birds in Africa at over 400 species, including flamingos and pelicans. Large herds of elephants are also found here, as well as giraffes, hippos, water buffalos and impalas. At the end of the afternoon we will go to Plantation Lodge for dinner and Overnight.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater en-route to Central Serengeti

Stop At: Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Tanzania
Wake up for breakfast and then, start game drive to Ngorongoro Crater, considered one the wonders of the Natural World. The crater spreads for 102 sq. miles and has 2.000 ft. high walls, making it virtually a Noah's ark and inhabiting almost every species of wildlife that is indigenous to East Africa. It's one of the very rare locations in the whole continent where you can witness the black Rhino. The crater has a river, several swamps, a soda lake with a great concentration of flamingos, a forest and open plains. It's also famous for its elephants which, are the largest in the world and have huge tusks. Ngorongoro Crater is truly a wonder of the Natural World.
Afterwards start entering the crater and drive towards the descending route. Have picnic lunch at the hippo site. Ascend the crater after lunch and start driving towards the famous Serengeti.

Day 6: Central Serengeti to Northern Serengeti

Stop At: Serengeti National Park, Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, game drive on the way to Northern part of the mighty Serengeti. The northern Serengeti is known as an exceptional destination to view the great wildebeest migration. Separated from the Masai Mara by the Mara River and its resident teeming crocodiles, a migration safari here offers exceptional and dramatic sightings of the popular river crossings. Depart with picnic lunch from Naona Moru Camp.

Day 7: Discover the Mighty Serengeti

Stop At: Serengeti National Park, Serengeti National Park
Full day in the Serengeti National Park. We are completely flexible with your preferences and this day will be organized according to your wishes. On every day of the safari, your guide will discuss with you the best timings for you, including the game drives and the wake up time. For example, on this day, you could do a morning game drive, return to the Camp for lunch and relaxation then finish with an afternoon game drive, or you could do a full day game drive with picnic lunch.

Day 8: Depart to Arusha

Stop At: Arusha, Arusha, Arusha Region
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kogatende Airstrip to board a flight to Arusha Airport
Flight-Schedule: Kogatende ETD: 09:25h - Arusha ETA: 11:45h
Upon arrival at the Airport you will be picked up and escorted to Arusha Coffee Lodge for hot lunch and leisure.
Later in the evening you will be dropped off at Kilimanjaro International Airport to catch a flight back home.
