Itinerary

Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Bagamoyo town.

Stop At: Bagamoyo, Bagamoyo, Pwani Region
Day 1,
Arrive at Dar es Salaam International Airport, after meet and greet you will be taken to visit various attractions in Dar es Salaam City, then transfer to Bagamoyo town. Bagamoyo town is located 70 kilometers north of Dar es Salaam City. It takes approximately 2 hours drive from Dar es Salaam to reach in Bagamoyo where the ruins meet the beach. This is the old historical town which has depicted the history of the Arabs and their old settlements as well as the colonial history of British and Germans. Check in for dinner and overnight stay at Garden Pub House.

ACCOMMODATION STATUS IN GARDEN PUB HOUSE:
> Our rooms at Garden Pub House are smaller but well maintained in a clean and safe environment, offering a cool and pleasant stay to our guests.

> We have 3 Small Houses at Garden Pub House, and each house has 3 rooms, and a seating room. You will be shown your room with a private door to stay.

YOUR ROOM HAVE: King Size Bed, 2 chairs, 1 table, kettle for coffee make up, wall mirror, private toilet & shower, carpet, ceiling fan, telephone to receptionist, WiFi Access. You will share a seating room, TV and Fridge with other guests.

> Breakfast, lunch and bottled water are included in your price

> Your small room does not have: Air Condition, hair dressing equipment but you will be escorted to a nearby saloon at a time of your choice

> Our rooms are suitable for budget travelers and are not friendly for luxurious visitors.

RULES OF STAYING:
1. Check in time is 11:00 hours
2. Check out time is 12:00 hours
3. A foreign guest is not allowed to invite a local visitor in his/ her room without being permitted by a house keeper/ receptionist
4. Costs of staying are per person and Not Per Room. A price discount for couples is offered at a time of booking.

5. A recommended tip to our Waiters is between USD 3.00 to USD 5.00 per day. Do not over tip.
5. You are free to smoke inside your room or ask a smoking bay
6. A Minimum Stay is 5 days
7. A Maximum Stay is 1 year

Day 2: Bagamoyo town tour

Stop At: Bagamoyo Museum, Mango Tree Drive, Bagamoyo Tanzania
Day 2 : In Bagamoyo town:
After breakfast, leave the house for Bagamoyo historical tour with your local hosts. Among the places of interest to visit and see are:
> the Kaole Ruins of 13th century
> the Old Fort or Slaves house
> the Caravan Serai Museum
> the Slaves Port/ German port
> the German BOMA
> the German cemetery
> the Old Churches
> the Church Museum
> the former slaves village
> Cross at the Beach
> the Baobab tree
> the Missionaries cemetery
Thereafter return to the house for dinner and overnight stay

Day 3: Bagamoyo town/ at the house

Stop At: Bagamoyo, Bagamoyo, Pwani Region
DAY 3,
After breakfast, a visitor will have an option to chose 1 or 2 programmes to do in a day. Each programme has its own price.
(i) 8 hours of learning traditional cooking, USD 40.00 per person
(ii) 9 hours of learning Swahili language, USD 50.00 per person
(iii) 9 hours of learning how to make batik garments, USD 300 per person
(iv) 4 hours of learning traditional music and 1 hour of live performance, USD 250 per person
(v) Visit local kids/ primary schools to see the teachers, school environment, classes, and talk to improve your Swahili learning. But you should have a bundle of gifts for the kids like books, pencils, pen, writing pads or any item of similarity to accompany your visit.

Day 4: Bagamoyo town/ or Saadani National Park

Stop At: Bagamoyo, Bagamoyo, Pwani Region
DAY 4,
After breakfast, chose 1 among the 2 programmes listed here below:
(i) 9 hours trip to Saadani National Park a place where the bush meet the beach, for a boat trip to see the hippos life and some giraffes, wildebeests, Zebras, antelopes, water backs and warthogs. You will also have a night stay in Saadani. USD 550 per person. learning a Swahili language USD 50 per person.
(ii) Full day resting at your house and you can buy and enjoy your drinks of choice at the pub.

Day 5: Bagamoyo to Dar es Salaam

1. We can drive for 12 days wildlife safari and short mountains climbing trip to Mikumi National Park, Udzungwa Mountains National Park and Ruaha National Park (if arranged in advance) or

2. We can drive 12 days wildlife trip to Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National Park (if arranged in advance)
