Itinerary

Day 1: MACHAME GATE- MACHAME CAMP

Stop At: Mount Kilimanjaro, Kilimanjaro National Park 00255 Tanzania
Pick up at the hotel after breakfast with your lunch boxes and having around 30 -40 minutes’ drive to Machame gate. It about 1800m above the sea level, we will be at the gate till we finish up with the registration. Start the hike through the rain forest for about 5-6 hours to reach Machame camp which is about 3000m above the sea level. For dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Machame Camp – Shira Camp

Stop At: Mount Kilimanjaro, Kilimanjaro National Park 00255 Tanzania
Pick up after breakfast and start hike towards shira camp which will take 3-4 hours. In this walk we will pass into the moorland after leaving machame camp. If sky is clear you will have the good view of Mont Meru, Kibo peak and also the village down the mountain and it’s about 3840m around the sea level. We stop in shira camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Shira Camp - Baranco CAMP

Stop At: Mount Kilimanjaro, Kilimanjaro National Park 00255 Tanzania
Pick up after breakfast with your lunch boxes and ascending toward Baranco camp which is about 3940m above the sea level this will take 5-6 hours, and for this day it’s important to have an acclimatization walk, then we will descend to lava tower and it’s about 4600m above the sea level. Then we have to hike down to Baranco camp for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 4: Baranco Camp - Karanga Valley Camp

Stop At: Mount Kilimanjaro, Kilimanjaro National Park 00255 Tanzania
Pick up at the camp after breakfast and start ascend to karanga valley camp. This is going to be a short hiking day, we will hike for around 3-4 hours and it’s about 4100m above the sea level. Dinner and overnight at karanga valley camp

Day 5: Karanga Valley - Barafu Camp

After breakfast we start a hike through the Alpine desert to Barafu camp. It’s around 4600m above the sea level. Dinner and overnight at barafu camp.

Day 6: Barafu Camp - Mt Kilimanjaro Summit

Stop At: Mount Kilimanjaro, Kilimanjaro National Park 00255 Tanzania
After some snacks and a cup of coffee or tea. Around midnight and hike to the summit which takes 5-6 hours. At the time around sunrise you will be at the summit Uhuru peak which is about 5895m above the sea level. After all the celebration at the Uhuru peak. We descending back to Barafu camp for lunch and proceed to Mweka camp (3000m above the sea level) for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Mweka Gate - Moshi

Stop At: Mount Kilimanjaro, Kilimanjaro National Park 00255 Tanzania
After the breakfast start descends through the rain forest to Mweka gate which takes 2-3 hours. There you will catch a car which will take you to Moshi town.
