Itinerary

On the edge of Kilimanjaro National Park and just a 45-minute drive from Moshi lies Materuni village, an authentic Chaga village. The Chaga are the third largest tribe of over 120 tribes existing in Tanzania, and most of them live on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. You’ll spend most of the day hiking to and visiting Materuni waterfalls, but you’ll also get tons of information about Chaga culture, and the chance to make your own coffee from A to Z. Local style, of course!
