Itinerary

Day 1: Momella Gate (1500m) To Miriakamba Hut (2500m)
Start climbing through the beautiful rainforest spotting wildlife along the way including white colobus monkeys, warthogs,giraffes, bushbucks, giraffes and many others. The path displays magnificent views of lake Momella and Mt. Kilimanjaro. Proceed to Miriakamba Hut for overnight stay.
Day 2: Miriakamba Hut (2500m) To Saddle Hut (3500m)
Set out the day for a steep climb along the ridge of the saddle with display of Meru crater. The path crosses over natural beautiful flower fields. Come across more animals along the way before you reach final destination at the Saddle hut. Spend the afternoon resting and gaining energy for the next day.
Day 3: Saddle Hut (3500m) To Socialist Peak (4562m) To Momella Gate (1500m)
Wake up by midnight for a hot drink and snacks. Put on trekking gears in attempt for the final ascent. Leave camp by torch light for a challenging climb through gravel and rocky ridges. Arrive at display of Meru crater.Spare time for photos feeling accomplished climbing mountain. Descend slowly till Miriakamba Hut for rest a bit snacking to reach Momella gate. Transfer back to Arusha town or airport for departure.
