Day 1: Dar-es-Salaam --Ruaha National Park

DETAIL ITINERARY:
Day 1: Dar es Salaam/Iringa/Ruaha
Pick up from the place of staying in Dar es Salaam and transfer to the airport in time for schedule flight to Iringa Town by Air Tanzania, which flies 3times a week. Upon arrival meet with your safari guide and have a lunch at the restaurant in town. After lunch you will drive to Ruaha National Park for about 3hours where you will arrive in the evening with sunset game en route to the camp/lodge. Dinner and overnight will be at the Old Msembe Banda.Meals Plan: Lunch & Dinner
Day 2: Game Drives in Ruaha National Park
Breakfast followed by a game viewing drive in the park. A fine network of game-viewing roads follows the Great Ruaha and its seasonal tributaries, where, during the dry season, impala, waterbuck and other antelopes risk their life for a sip of life-sustaining water. And the risk is considerable: not only from the prides of 20-plus lion that lord over the savannah, but also from the cheetahs that stalk the open grassland and the leopards that lurk in tangled riverine thickets. This impressive array of large predators is boosted by both striped and spotted hyena, as well as several conspicuous packs of the highly endangered African wild dog. Day 3: Walking & Game drive in Ruaha National Park
After breakfast, wilderness walking safari with guidance of an armed ranger takes 2hrs. Walking safari will give you a particularly intimate feel for the African wilds. It starts in the morning, after walking meet with your vehicle and proceeds with game viewing drives in the park, which is known to be one of the more natural, unspoilt as well as one of the largest Parks of Africa! Look for Roan and Sable antelope, Hippo Crocodile, waterbuck, Reedbuck and Buffalo venture to the river's edge to drink, attracting the attention of Lion, Leopard, Hyena, Wild dog and jackal and many more antelopes include Dik dik.
