Great Walking Safari Ngorongoro Highlands 7 Days is a tour will takes you to visit and explore Ngorongoro highlands with a Crater game drives. On great walking, you will have 3 nights in the highlands of Ngorongoro conservation area at the special camp sites and the other two nights outside conservation boundary at the base of Oldonyo Lengai Volcano mountain and at Lake Natron. All the camp sites will be fixed with comfortable canvas Tents, while donkeys are included in the number of the crew to help carrying the stuff, this is very interesting. You will be accompanied by our safari special cook. Three meals will be served a day, Dinner is three course meals.

Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport

Met ipon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, soon after you will be transferred to Arusha. Dinner and overnight at Karama  Lodge in Arusha.

Day 2: Arusha - Ngorongoro Crater Tour:

In the morning at 0830hrs drive 190km from Arusha to Ngorongoro, descend into crater floor with packed lunch for a day game drives, picnic lunch will be served in the Crater on the picnic site. After lunch at 1430 hrs ascend the crater and drive out to Olmot crater rim for dinner and overnight, Nainokanoka Campsite. GB

Day 3: Nainokanoka - Empakai: 

Breakfast in your camp, there after climb thru forest and descend into the shallow grass Olmoti crater with lunch box for a half day walking in the Crater. Later ascend the crater on walking for lunch in Nainokanoka Camp, after lunch proceed to Empakai Crater rim for dinner and overnight in the campsite.  

Day 4: Empakai - Naiyobi: 

Breakfast, soon after walk to the crater floor. Take an easy walk to the lake where sometimes-huge flocks of flamingo birds can be seen. Lunch on Empakai crater rim, after lunch walk along the rim to Naiyobi village. Donkeys are one of the crew accompanied with you, dinner and overnight, Naiyobi village. Camping. 

Day 5: Naiyobi - Oldonyo Lengai: 

Breakfast, then proceed walking with lunch en route to the base of the Mountain of God, Dinner and overnight. At night hours start ascending the Mountain of God, an active volcanic mountain, its hot, arduous ascend to its menacing crater. Feel strength, you can make it. The guides will advice time to leave from the peak and descend to the base for breakfast. 

Day 6: Ol-Lengai - Lake Natron: 

Breakfast followed by walking along the rift valley to Lake Natron the Soda Lake. Lunch at midday. Walking around the lake,  visit the waterfalls just near the lake. Dinner and overnight at Natron campsite. FB

Day 7: Natron - Arusha:
-After breakfast, relax at leisure in the camp until 1100jhrs the time you will be picked with your packed lunch for Arusha via Mto-wa Mbu Village. End of Services.
