Available Mid-May till end October: a relaxed bike tour of 6 hours for the whole family through the typical Dutch countryside around Leiden. Meet the cheese farmer, find out the difference between Gouda & Leiden cheese and taste a great variety of cheeses. Many stops at cheese farms and cosy places for a drink or a bite. We cycle through a scenic landscape of green meadows full of cows, see a windmill enroute and get into the nostalgic atmosphere of a lost time in Holland.

Not far from city centre Leiden there are places that Dutch locals don’t even know about. In this bike tour Holland cheese farms around Leiden we get a peek behind the scenes of cheese making and visit places that are hidden from view by pollard willows and other lush green trees.

This is a relaxed bike ride through the beautiful surroundings of Leiden. You'll get a good view of the authentic way of life in the Dutch countryside. An ideal outing for the whole family with lots of sights and stops. Of course there's time for tasting and buying Gouda cheese and other Dutch cheeses!

This tour is €75.00 p.p. This includes regular bike rental, a visit to the cheese farm and me as your -over-enthusiastic guide.
