Carthage

Explore the ruins of the 3000 years-old Carthage, and trace the Punic,Roman,Byzantine  and Crusadors history.

There are about 9 different sites to see , the most important are the Byrsa Hill  , the Antoninus Baths, the Malaga Cisterns , the roman villas ,

the punic ports ; the Salambo Tophet.

The visit can take from 3-6 Hours.

Walking , we can see about 3/4 sites , but to see more sites a car will be necessary.

Transportation can be arranged upon demand , on the charge of the customer.

We can begin at 09AM, one ticket for a bout 3 Euros for all the sites. I suggest to begin at the Antoninus Baths for 1 hour ,to see the ruins of majestuous baths from the second century A.D . Then, the roman villas for 30 minutes. The unique Malaga cisterns with the last part of the world  longuest aqueduct for 30 minutes , we can finish at the Byrsa Hill ; the only site you can find ruins of punic houses but we can also see the ruins of the roman Forum and the Museum of Carthage , the Cathedral and Tomb of Saint Louis , this takes 1h30 minutes. That's the itinerary i suggest , but it remains flexible and depends on  visitors choice and the time they have .
