Itinerary

Day 1: Airport Pickup & Orientation

Pass By: Tunis, Tunis, Tunis Governorate
Our Coordinator will arrange a pickup for you from the airport in Tunis at agreed time and they will drive you to the volunteer home. Orientation and Placement will be done the next day.

Day 2: Orientation and Placement

Stop At: Tunis, Tunis, Tunis Governorate
On the second day, our Coordinator will give an orientation about the project you will be working on. You will be using your talents and skills to enhance the lives of under privileged community children and youth while learning about the culture and customs of the local people.
Duration: 4 hours

Stop At: Carthage, Carthage, Tunis Governorate
Follow in the footsteps of Hannibal, and explore an ancient city destroyed and rebuilt by the Romans. The excavated site is large, but a light rail runs right through the middle of the city, which makes getting about easier. Make sure you check out the National Museum, as well as the amphitheater and the Antonine baths. We recommend setting aside a whole day to explore Carthage.

Day 3: Volunteer Work & Excursions

Go Volunteer Africa places volunteer travelers from different parts of the world, under several different projects in Tunisia. Volunteer in Tunisia programs are dedicated towards several social causes, such as Childcare, Teaching, Healthcare, Social Development and and more.
