Itinerary

Day 1: Istanbul to Gallipoli – Gallipoli day Tour

Stop At: Gallipoli Battlefield, Eceabat Turkey
We will pick you up from your hotel in Istanbul at 6:30 AM and drive down to the Gallipoli peninsula. At 12:00 PM we will arrive and stop for lunch in Eceabat. Following lunch, we will begin the tour of Gallipoli. We will see the battlefields and memorials of the ANZAC and Ottoman forces. We will hear about the successes and failures of both sides and see the trenches they fought in. At the end of the tour, we will take you to your hotel in Canakkale. You will have the rest of the evening free.

Day 2: Day trip of Troy and Pergamon / Transfer to Izmir Kusadasi

Stop At: Pergamon Theatre, Kurtulus Mah. Akrapol Yolu No:2 Bergama Merkez, Bergama, Bergama Turkey
We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:30 AM and head to Troy. We will explore the remains of the many cities of Troy, the Odeon, the Bouleuterion, and the 3,700 year old walls. We will also stop at the replica of the Trojan horse. At 10:30 AM we will depart for Pergamon. We will arrive around 1:30 PM and stop for lunch. After lunch, we will begin a fully guided tour of Pergamon. Some highlights of the tour includes the Library, the Temple of Athena, the Acropolis, the Alter of Zeus and the Lower Agora. At about 5:30 PM we will finish the tour and drive to your hotel in Kusadasi.

Day 3: Day trips of Pamukkale and Hierapolis

Stop At: Pamukkale Thermal Pools, Pamukkale Turkey
We will pick you up from your hotel in Kasadasi at 8:30 AM. We will drive the 3 hours to Pamukkale. When we arrive, we will stop for lunch. After lunch, we will take a fully guided tour of the ancient city of Hierapolis. You will get to see the well preserved Roman Theater, the Martyrion of St. Philip and the Temple of Apollo. After exploring Hierapolis, you will have time to walk through the travertines and swim in Cleopatra's Pool. When the tour is finished, we will take you back to your hotel in Kusadasi.

Day 4: Day Tour of Ephesus and Flight to Cappadocia in the Evening

Stop At: Ephesus Museum, Selcuk Turkey
We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:30AM for a fully guided Ephesus tour. The highlights of the tour include the Temple of Artemis, the Amphitheater, the Celsius Library and the House of the Virgin Mary. Lunch will be provided at a traditional Turkish restaurant. At the end of the tour, we will take you to the airport for a one hour flight to Cappadocia. We will pick you up from the airport and take you to your hotel in Goreme.

Day 5: Day tour of Southern Cappadocia-Green tour

Stop At: Kaymakli Underground City, Derinkuyu Turkey
You will have time to have a quick breakfast before your tour begins. We will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning and take you to the airport for a one hour flight from Izmir to Cappadocia. Once you arrive, we will pick you up from the airport and take you to our office in Goreme Town. From there we will pick you up at 9:30 for your South Cappadocia Tour. First, we will stop at the underground city of Derinkuyu and climb down through the 8 levels that are available for viewing. From there, we will hike through the famous Ilhara Valley before lunch. After lunch, we will visit Selime Monastery and see how the Monks lived before heading to Pigeon Valley for some excellent views. We will take you back to your hotel at the end of the tour and you will have free time for the rest of the night.

Day 6: Day tour of Northern Cappadocia /Flight from Cappadocia to Istanbul

Stop At: Uchisar Castle, Uchisar Turkey
We will pick you up from your hotel at 9:30 for your North Cappadocia Tour. First, we will stop for a photo op at a vista point overlooking Uchisar Castle. Then, we will continue on to the Goreme Open Air Museum, followed by lunch in Avanos. After lunch, we will stop for a pottery demonstration. You will get a chance to try yourself! From there we will make short stops at Cavusin, Devrent where you will see some animal shaped rock formations, St. Monk's Valley with the mushroom shaped fairy chimneys and St. Simeon’s monk cell. We will drop you back at your hotel at the end of the tour. Depending on your flight time, we will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the airport. After a one hour flight to Istanbul, we will pick you up from the airport and take you to your hotel.
