Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to İstanbul, Turkey

Pass By: Meet Transfer, Istanbul 34275 Turkey
Upon your arrival to the Ataturk airport in Istanbul, BellaTurca Travel representative will welcome you with a sign bearing your name and then you will be transferred to your hotel and take a rest.

Day 2: Flight to Cappadocia & North Cappadocia Tour

Pass By: Cappadocia Airport Transfers, 370 Evler Mahallesi, 24. Cadde, No:1/5, Urgup 50400 Turkey
Early morning pick you from your hotel and transfer to airport for Cappadocia flight.

Upon your arrival to Cappadocia, BellaTurca Travel representative will welcome you with a sign bearing your name and then you will be transferred to tour office. After welcome drink start your excursion.


Stop At: Goreme National Park, Goreme 50180 Turkey
Our first stop is the fantastic view point of Uchisar Castle where you will receive information about the rich history of Cappadocia and the unique rock formations.

After the panoramic view point, we visit Goreme Open Air Museum. Your guide will explain the meanings of frescoes covering the walls of thousand-year-old cave churches as you explore this spectacular UNESCO World Heritage site.

Next, we will see a kick-wheel pottery demonstration and our guests are welcome to show their own talent about pottery.

We will have our lunch in Avanos with traditional Turkish foods. After lunch we will visit Pasabag Fairy Chimneys where is also commonly known as Monks Valley. You will have chance to see the famous mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys as well as St. Simeon’s monk cell carved into the rock.

Devrent Valley is well known as imagination valley where you can take fantastic pictures with animal-shaped rock formations.

Our last visit will be Turkish handmade carpet cooperative where you will be informed about process of handwoven kilims and double-knotted rugs from Turkey.

Day 3: Hot Air Balloon Ride & South Cappadocia Tour

Stop At: Goreme National Park, Goreme 50180 Turkey
Sunrise Balloon Flight over lunar landscape of Cappadocia. After landing celebrate with champagne and back to hotel around 07:30 which will let you take a rest and have a breakfast till excursion’s pick-up time.

Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes

Stop At: Goreme National Park, Goreme 50180 Turkey
Your guide pick you up from hotel around 10:00 and then we will visit Goreme Panorama where you can see wonderful view of Goreme town with its spectacular cave houses.

Then, we will start our hike in the beautiful Red/Rose Valley which will take approximately 4 km and slightly more than one hour. We will see fairy-chimneys, local farms, pigeon houses and cave chapels. Your guide will give information about the history and the unique formations of Cappadocia during the hike. At the end of the hike we will have a quick stop at Cavusin Old Greek Village.

Then we will drive to Love Valley to take amazing pictures of pillar-shaped rock formations of Cappadocia

We will have our lunch with traditional Turkish foods. After lunch we will visit carved underground city which was used by early Christians as a shelter to hide themselves against their enemies.

Next, we will have a stop at the terrific view of Pigeon Valley where you will be informed about carved pigeon houses.

Our final stop will be Onyx factory where you will be informed about semi-precious volcanic stones of Turkey.

Day 4: Private Transfer to Mt. Nemrut

Stop At: Mount Nemrut, Adiyaman 50100 Turkey
After breakfast at hotel, check out and drive to Adıyaman. Stop at Kahramanmaras for lunch and a taste of its famous ice cream.

Upon arrival to Kahta, check in to hotel and take a rest.

Day 5: Sunrise at Mt. Nemrut & Arsemia Old City

Stop At: Mount Nemrut, Adiyaman 50100 Turkey
Early morning drive to the summit of the mount Nemrut (one of the most popular UNESCO world cultural heritage sites), watching the sunset, be amazed by the colossal heads and statues of ancient deities, as you step into mythology. This extraordinary landmark rests at an elevation of 8000 ft. The mountain top complex is composed of two flattened areas strewn with statues and separated by a false peak of crushed rock. Antiochus built the entire complex approximately 2000 years ago as a monument to his divine ancestry. Also definitely take time to visit the old castle, Arsemeia, cross over the still functioning Cendere Bridge (Septimius Severus bridge) dating all the way back to the 3rd century and Tumulus Tomb of Karakus.

After visiting Nemrut and Arsemia we will drive to Sanliurfa and Harran. On the way to Sanlıurfa we will have a tea break at Ataturk Dam, which is the biggest dam in Middle east.

Upon arrival, check in our hotel and take a rest.

Day 6: Göbeklitepe & Abraham’s Cave Tour

Stop At: Gobeklitepe, Sanliurfa Turkey
After breakfast, start exploring Sanliurfa. Urfa has been occupied since the Babylonians followed by the Hurrites, Hittites, Assyrians, Greeks. We will visit Urfa Archaeological Museum. This museum exhibit a huge collection, founded from Harran and Gobeklitepe Area. We will also visit the holy sites at the Ainzelha, a lake with millions of domesticated fish. While in Urfa we will visit the cave where the prophet Abraham was born. Then, walk through the local covered bazaar of Sanliurfa. Walk through the town to discover the many hidden treasures.

We will have a delicious lunch with kebabs. After lunch we will visit nearby Harran and see the incredible beehive houses. Harran- according to the Bible- was the site where prophet Abraham spent a few years with his family before moving on to Israel, the Promised Land. There are exceptional photo opportunities in this area.

In the afternoon you will see Gobeklitepe, a hilltop sanctuary erected on the highest point of an elongated mountain ridge some 15 km northeast of the town of Urfa. Gobeklitepe which is believed the first temple of the World. It was built roughly twelve thousand years ago, circa 10,000 BC.

Day 7: Gaziantep & Zeugma Mosaic Museum & Flight back to İstanbul

Stop At: Zeugma Mosaic Museum, Mithatpasa Mahallesi Haci Sani Konukoglu Bulvari Sehitkamil, Gaziantep 27500 Turkey
After breakfast at hotel, check out and drive to Gaziantep. We will first visit Gaziantep Mosaic Museum. This museum exhibit superb mosaic discovered at the Roman site of Belkis-Zeugma before the Birecik Dam flooded most of the site. We will visit the old city castle which is located in the center of the city and copper bazaar. This bazaar is one of the most special and oldest bazaars in Turkey. You can find variety of copper handcrafts. We will also have the chance to taste famous baklava; a sweet pastry made of layers of filo filled with chopped nuts and sweetened and held together with syrup or honey (Baklava is originally from Gaziantep).

After visiting the city, drive to airport for your evening flight back to İstanbul.

Upon your arrival to İstanbul, we will meet you and transfer to your hotel.
