Best of Capaddocia and Konya in 2 days with full board

2-day trip to Konya and Capaddocia with full board and overnight in 4 star hotel. Visit the most famous land in Turkey! Capaddocia will amaze you with its underground cities, rock curved churches in Goreme Open Air Museum and fabulous shapes of stone formations. Visit the monastery of Mevlana Whirling Dervishes  in Konya. Do not miss the chance! Go to the land of volcanos, fairy chimneys and beautifull valleys and finally see all these attraction from up high – during unforgettable hot air balloon adventure.

1st day (breakfast, lunch, dinner)

You will leave hotel early in the morning, having your breakfast on the way in local restaurant. The journey will take few hours to reach finally the Underground City with labyrinth of halls where people used to live and had protection from Arab invasions. Walking down the hallways and stairs we will visit the animal stable, kitchen, bedrooms and living rooms. When continuing to central Cappadocia, the guide will show you the Hasan volcano, which explosions resulted in creations of Capaddocia.

Then you will go to Pasabag Valley. Walk down the valley among the stone figures that reminds monks. Name Pasabag means feed gardens – there are so beautiful!

The most important place in Capaddocia is Goreme Museum of churches - at the same time the Open-Air Museum listed by the UNESCO. There are numerous of Christian churches in Goreme that are wrought in the stone with picturesque frescos. We will visit popular churches such as Apple Church, Snake Church and St. Barbara Church and also monastery (rooms, kitchen). Later you will see some more valleys among which are: Uchisar – valley with a wrought in a stone castle, Cavusin – with rock curved living houses, Lovers Valley or Avanos with the longest Turkish river Red River.

After sightseeing, we will go to the hotel. The supper will be served in the hotel – open buffet meal. There will be a chance to take part in Al Inclusive evening show of Turkish Night with whirling dervishes performance (on your own expense).

2nd day  (breakfast, lunch)

Early in the morning we highly recommend the BALLOON FLIGHT above the Cappadocia. A unique chance to go to the air with a balloon! to see the picturesquely shaped valleys of Cappadocia in the glare of the morning dawn! (on your own expense).

Then we will go to admire Pigeons Valley – full of pigeons and its  rock curved cotes , Imagination Valley – a stone zoo with a famous camel among the others, Three Beauties – symbol of Capaddocia.

On our way to Konya  we will stop by medieval caravanserai where years ago caravans were resting after all day of travel.  In Konya you will see the famous Mevlana Museum. Mevlana is the founder of the Mevlevi Order, that are praying by the ritual dance around its own axis. This is where we will see among the others Mevlana and his students tombs, Dervish hall and kitchen in which the balance and dance were practiced. It is one of the most important pilgrimage places for Turkish Muslims.

After we pass through Taurus Mountains you will be back at your hotel around 6 pm.
