.The House of the Virgin Mary is situated on top of BulBul Mountain that overlooks all of Selcuk. It is said that this house is where Mary saw out the last years of her life. It is now a very important pilgrimage sight for Christians.

The Temple of Artemis is known to date back as far as 6th Century B.C. Now one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient world, what you see left standing today is the foundations and some columns that indicate the grandeur of this temple.
